    We are seeking an experienced Paving Superintendent to oversee and manage paving projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong construction management skills, extensive site supervision experience, and proficiency with industry-standard software tools. This role requires leadership in coordinating crews, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering projects on time and within budget. The Paving Superintendent will play a critical role in maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency across all phases of paving operations. Duties Maximize operational productivity of paving crews by appropriately allocating personnel, equipment, and trucking for each paving project. Ensure the safety of our personnel through enforcement of project specific PPE requirements and adherence to our Safety Policies. Deliver quality paving projects to municipal and private owners as well as outside contractors by promoting best practices from the paving crews and visual review of asphalt quality. Coordinate daily with Paving Group Manager, General Superintendent, Project Managers and Construction Coordinator to support field personnel and equipment dispatches. Review paving foreman timecards daily, verifying hours worked and costs are coded correctly. Attend weekly internal operations meetings. Coordinate with Tucci Project Managers and outside contractors to schedule paving crews. Provide weekly schedule updates to Paving Group Manger. Coordinate with Plant Manager on weekly schedule, ensure correct mix design use for each project, and allocate plant resources to the various projects. Work closely with Shop Superintendent to repair equipment as needed and coordinate preventative maintenance. Review newly executed project contracts for scheduling, claim notices, and mix designs. Attend paving specific job set-up meetings, paving specific pre-construction meetings, and paving specific weekly construction meetings. Visit paving job sites before paving operations to ensure proper grades and paving layout is prepared for asphalt crews. Coordinate with Project Managers and owners on re-grading or paving releases. Promote, recruit, and hire future paving foreman and operators. Assist with training of apprentices. Coach employees to maximize their individual potential. Preferred Skills Work history in the construction trades. Proven experience in construction management with a focus on paving or heavy civil projects. Supervising experience in a construction environment is essential. Familiarity with HeavyBid construction estimating software. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards applicable to construction sites. Proficiency with HeavyJob construction management software.
