Who are we looking for?
The SAP Supply Chain/EWM Specialist will be reporting directly to the Director, SAP S/4 Hana Center of Excellence (CoE), and will have an important role in the warehouse management and inventory management areas, and support our manufacturing and distribution business.
The SAP Supply Chain/EWM Specialist will be expected to be a hands-on expert in SAP ECC & SAP S/4 Supply Chain area with emphasis on EWM/WM/IM and has implemented S/4 Hana EWM/IM multiple times using a global template rollout approach. The position may require some travel within the Americas and internationally. Having a strong customer focus and service orientation is key for this position. You will have an important role in the warehouse management and inventory management areas, and support our manufacturing and distribution business.
What will you be doing?
* Supply Chain Specialist supporting Americas Region
* Key resource for S/4 Hana EWM global implementation and will be responsible for all the project activities related to the workstream
* Hands-on SAP Global EWM solution design, configuration, rollouts and support in SAP S/4 & SAP ECC. Responsible for working with other areas within SAP like PP/SD/QM/ MM/MDG to provide a comprehensive supply chain solution
* Researching, documenting, adhering to clean core / best practices utilizing SAP and Chemical industry best practices in the warehouse management area
* Responsible for implementation of strong application maintenance processes and SLAs in all areas of responsibility (break fix, preventive and minor enhancements )
* Provide expert internal consulting in the SAP S/4 Hana supply chain area including establishing standards and requirements, evaluating enhancements, and implementing solutions, systems configuration, design and implementation.
* Production support:
* Responsible for implementation of strong application maintenance processes and SLAs in all areas of responsibility (break fix, preventive and minor enhancements)
* Responsible for the development of detailed documentation related to business processes mapped and implemented within SAP including documentation of the downstream and upstream system impacts.

Who are You?
* Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience required.
* 8+ years strong hands-on work experience in SAP WM out of which 4+ years in EWM is required in a business facing role
* Key Supply chain resource with focus in EWM/WM experienced in multiple SAP S/4 implementations with demonstrated consulting experience in the supply chain process areas. Two life-cycle global SAP S/4 Hana projects are preferred
* Must have exposure to Production execution under discreet manufacturing and process manufacturing preferably in a chemical industry setting

The
Manger, Strategic Sourcing - Direct
will manage and execute sourcing activities for Merz - including research, vendor site visits, negotiations, contracting, and on-going supplier management to help insure uninterrupted supply of direct goods and related services. The position will be the focal point for all sourcing requirements and processes, with particular focus on the following categories: Contract manufacturing, skin care products, energy-based medical devices, components, cartons, packaging, and small parcel services. The position will work integral with Corporate Strategic Sourcing colleagues to leverage global purchasing power. The position will ensure that procurement activities are in adherence with corporate polices and will work with the heads of the local Merz business units/functions to ensure that goods and services are in line with business requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain knowledge of supplier landscape
Develop broad understanding of products and services with knowledge of key supplier contract terms, termination, and expiries.
Formulate category and vendor strategies
Learn to formulate sourcing strategies for key categories and business critical vendors to support supply chain resiliency, minimize business risk, and maximize Merz global purchasing power.
RFx
In collaboration with business owner, prepare and solicit competitive bids, quotations, and proposals for evaluation.
Draft contract language
Draft business Terms and commercial terms language for vendor agreements (e.g., Master Service Agreements, Supply Agreements, and SOWs).
Work in close collaboration with Merz Legal and business owners to minimize business risks through favorable commercial terms.
Risk mitigation
Identify alternative supply solutions. Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, and business owners to identify second source suppliers or technology to mitigate long-term supply risks.
Supplier visits
Conduct suppler site visits to assess supplier business continuity and to maintain supplier contacts.
Business cost reduction
Suggest, assist, and support business owners in identifying and implementing projects to achieve business owner's annual cost and COGS reduction targets.
Industry trends
Stay current with industry trends and processes on capacity, rates, commodity pricing, acquisitions and consolidations, and other trends that impact Merz.

* The salary range for this position is $ 117,200.00 - 156,300.00 USD Annual. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. YOUR ROLE
Are you known for exceptional operational support in the supply chain environment? Are you passionate about data reporting and analysis and transportation operations? If so, we have an opportunity that would allow you to provide an essential role and contribute to delivering superior supply chain services.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
* Develop working relationships with internal and external customers, assist with account management such as maintaining customer profiles, details and service needs. Address various internal and external customer questions and concerns regarding shipments, billing, status, services, carriers, and other needs; forward complex or escalated customer needs as appropriate.
* Interface with airlines, shipping, truck and related carriers to understand requirements, track shipments or details; operations are typically standard to complex.
* Manage various documents for accuracy; requires operational knowledge of customers, carriers, and procedures. Update various operational/customer data in software systems and applications, work to identify missing or potential operational or service concerns and communicate with appropriate groups as necessary to resolve.
* Utilize databases, logs, and other sources to locate and verify information; information is usually operational in nature, standard to complex.
* Track orders and shipments and assist with tracing as needed; usually more standard, regional or domestic operations. Create and processes invoices, reviews for operational accuracy, and works with customers on questions and payment.
* Assist with running and summarizing operational reports and details; present information to co-workers or supervisors are needed. Assist with preparing information required for quotes or address potential services; may provide more standard to complex quotes.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and maintain a safe and effective work environment; assist others with understanding operational items.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Education and Experience:
* High School graduate or GED.
* Five years of office experience in a logistics/transportation environment.
Skills:
* Basic to Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, Internet, web-based and job specific software applications.
* Utilizes databases and systems to review and verify documentation and information.
* Ability to prepare basic reports, queries, and operational information.
* Ability to track and trace basic shipments or product.
Characteristics:
* Understanding of providers, carriers and services in related supply chain environments.
* Ability to communicate potential concerns or delays.
* Operates in a fast pace and changing environment and in both a team and individual contributor environment.
* Capable of communicating with co-workers to provide and receive direction.
