Located in West Chester and Malvern Pennsylvania, services provided include psychiatric residential treatment (PRTF), acute inpatient psychiatric hospital (AIP), assessment services, community-based mental health services, community-based employment training and social skills training, and approved private school educational services to male and female children and adolescents (6-21 years of age) with diagnoses of intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, concomitant psychiatric and behavioral challenges often associated with experiencing some level of trauma in their lives. Proficient computer skills, mastery of Microsoft Office Applications, experience with data collection/analyzing platforms (Radar, Pro-Filer, and/or other internal and external software applications pertinent to the position). Strong organizational skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Requires ability to work independently, prioritize, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and adhere to established guidelines. Valid driver's license must be maintained. Primary Responsibilities: Follows standard operating procedures, program policy and procedures, and client interventions processes. Interacts with and supervises clients during daily activities in a manner that ensures their safety and security. Provides effective facility security including conducting headcounts, room checks, and observing client movement. Observes client behavior and intervenes appropriately. Demonstrates appropriate use of client intervention skills and Safe Crisis Management (SCM) techniques; monitors client interventions and provides guidance to other employees as necessary. Facilitates and documents various groups or meetings; monitors the documentation process to ensure all services are documented as necessary each shift. In this role, you will coordinate and implement Individual Support Plans (ISPs) for individuals with intellectual, developmental, and/or behavioral health needs. You will work closely with participants, families, and staff to ensure services are delivered effectively, promote independence, and support each individual's dignity, well-being, and community integration. The Program Specialist is responsible for coordinating, implementing, and monitoring Individual Support Plans (ISPs) for assigned consumers. This role ensures services meet individualized support needs, comply with regulatory requirements, and promote consumer growth, independence, and well-being. The Program Specialist works closely with consumers, families, Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), and the interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality care and support. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and complete initial, annual, and revision assessments for assigned caseload. Identify individualized consumer support needs for direct supervision or unsupervised periods. Disseminate assessments to ISP team members at least 30 days prior to meetings for ISP development or revisions. Provide training to DSPs on consumer Support Plans, including medication protocols, before working with the consumer. Participate in development, review, and revision of ISPs, ISP Annual Updates, and all ISP revisions. Attend ISP meetings, annual updates, and revisions; serve as Plan Lead when a Supports Coordinator is not assigned.
