Key job responsibilities
As a Live Infra SystemsEngineer you will build and scale our current infrastructure as well as designing and delivering new tools supporting our video business. GNC ENGINEER, FLEET MANAGEMENT (STARSHIELD)
Starshield leverages SpaceX's Starlink technology and launch capability to support national security efforts. While Starlink is designed for consumer and commercial use, Starshield is designed for government use, with an initial focus on earth observation, communications, and hosted payloads.
As an engineer on the GNC (Guidance, Navigation, and Control), Fleet Management team, you will be responsible for the complete lifecycle of Starshield's constellation. The Fleet Management team designs the constellation through analysis and simulation, and then brings it into reality through satellite and ground software development. This is an opportunity to apply expertise in orbital mechanics to both define constellation geometry and implement the control systems necessary to maintain it (including orbit raise, station keeping, and collision avoidance algorithms). This all requires working collaboratively across engineering teams to represent the satellite system at the constellation level, ultimately defining scope and requirements for future vehicles.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop highly reliable and performant GNC algorithms, flight software, simulations, tools, services, and dashboards using C++ or Python

True Anomaly is seeking a Lead System Modeling Engineer to serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Model-Based SystemsEngineering (MBSE) in support of space and missile defense programs. This individual will serve as the company technical authority for Cameo-based MBSE model development and SysML best practices, contributing to the development of digital thread architecture and ecosystem operation. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and governing system models across complex space and missile defense programs, while influencing digital thread architecture and systemsengineering processes in alignment with Department of Defense (DoD) policies and industry standards. Responsibilities
Serve as the primary Cameo MBSE SME, providing technical leadership, mentoring, and governance for SysML-based system models

Utilize the Cameo platform to create and manage a model-based, authoritative representation of system requirements, architecture, behavior, interfaces, and verification to enable traceability, trade studies, and lifecycle decision-making for complex systems
Integrate MBSE models with enterprise PLM tools, including Teamcenter, Jama, NX CAD, and other data systems, to enable lifecycle data continuity
Help develop, refine, and deploy systemsengineering processes and MBSE workflows across programs
Collaborate within Agile development environments, supporting incremental delivery and continuous integration of system models
Support classified programs, ensuring compliance with security requirements and configuration management practices
Contribute to proposal efforts, technical reviews, and customer engagements related to MBSE and digital engineering

Required Qualifications

Collaborates with the team to prepare rough grading plans, precise grading and drainage plans.
Designs and prepares street light plans, and signing and striping plans. In addition, prepares street improvement plans and collaborated on street profile designs.
Prepared FSOD for residential projects in the County. The work included checking the lot areas, setbacks and architectural plans to determine the most feasible plan mix. Utilized both Civil 3D as well as Microsoft Excel
for open space and coverage space percentages and verifying that ordinance requirements are being met. The task also included communication with the developer's construction team for collaboration
on plan mixes, elevations, etc.
Performs retaining wall and footing calculations and created wall profiles based on County standards.
Estimated project costs by calculating project construction quantities and
researching their unit cost.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Sanitary Engineering, or a related engineering field
Certifications/Licenses:
Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid California Driver's license at the time of hire
Registration as a Professional Engineer in Training (EIT) by the State of California; OR by the technical board of another state, with the ability to obtain California Registration within six (6) months of employment
The pay range for this California position is $35.00- $50.00 per hour; however, base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate.
