    The Advanced Research Center (ARC) is a Missile Defense Agency (MDA) facility located in Cummings Research Park in Huntsville, AL. The ARC is a Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) facility designed and operated to support Missile Defense System (MDS) Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) Ground Test (GT) and Flight Test (FT) activities. DTechLogic is the prime contractor supporting the ARC, which is a joint venture between Davidson Technologies and nLogic that was started in 2018. The DTechLogic ARC Team consists of five contractor teammates in Huntsville, AL. The DTechLogic Team is seeking a Windows System Administrator summer intern at MDA's ARC. This role encompasses a wide range of IT responsibilities, focusing on system and user account administration. The candidate will be teamed up with other System Administrators to learn what they do on a daily basis and get an opportunity to learn what a Windows systems administrator at the MDA ARC and shadow their daily responsibilities. Job Requirements: The selected candidate must be enrolled in higher education, in pursuit of a bachelor's or master's degree that relates to the job description (Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology or a related field) Currently maintains or can quickly obtain a CompTIA Security+CE certification Have familiarity with Windows operating system (Windows 11 preferred) Experience with Microsoft Office basic apps (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Daily/Weekly Taskings: Creating procedures for user account management. This includes creating accounts, adding permissions, and locking and unlocking accounts System builds: All facets of building a system (Joining it to the domain and continued maintenance) Active shadowing of other system administrators to learn: Active directory functions: Overview with some hands-on account management. Group Policy: Generalized overview and training. Customer relations: Proper interactions with customers and managing their expectations.
