Taunton Electric Lighting Company made it possible for the first electric cars to start service from the Green to Whittenton and back on April 30, 1893.
In June 1897, the city of Taunton purchased the electric light company for a total $125,000.
1970 Helpmate organized in Seekonk and began operations out of the Seekonk Alliance Church.
1971 Helpmate moves into a small house owned by the Town at 396 Newman Avenue in Seekonk.
Since that day in 1975, The Taunton Press has evolved into a 21st-century media company with category-leading brands that inspire and inform over 14 million passionate makers.
1977 Central City purchases site at 19 Cedar Street, Taunton.
1981 Helpmate in Seekonk, Rehoboth Problem Solving Center and Berkley-Dighton Community Center merge to create Anawan Associates.
1982 Anawan Associates becomes licensed as a mental health clinic.
Since its founding in 1987, Quality Beverage has enjoyed consistent growth.

2006 To increase affordable housing in the community and support growth, CCBC forms: CCBC Housing Dev.
2008 CCBC awarded contract to develop Recovery Learning Community in SE Mass to provide clients support from peers with lived experience with mental illness and recovery.
In August of 2013, Quality Beverage L.P. acquired Consolidated Beverages of Auburn, MA, encompassing Worcester and more than 40 nearby communities while expanding operations into two divisions located in Taunton and Auburn.
In October of 2019, Quality Beverage L.P. acquired Williams Distributing in Chicopee, MA, expanding operations into three divisions.
