Intern Position Summary The Learning Technology & Accessibility Intern will work with the Technical Learning & Development (L&D) team to advance accessibility and Section 508 compliance across learning content and organizational workflows in support of the Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS) and State Examination System (SES). This internship focuses on ensuring adherence to WCAG 2.1 AA standards and promoting inclusive learning experiences. The intern will revisit existing accessibility resources, research emerging technologies and best practices, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to strengthen accessibility strategies. Chair design reviews, ensure proper implementation of the X-energy Systems Engineering Management Plan and related engineering policies/procedures, evaluate engineered solutions against 1) requirements allocated to the solution, 2) fidelity of the solution and methods applied, and 3) maturity of the solution given the phase/review being performed. Build the review board composition based on system under review, make recommendations and define corrective actions through issuance of Action Items/Requests for Action (RFAs) to ensure project technical compliance.
