* Conduct compliance monitoring of subrecipients by providing input to a monitoring plan that ensures adequate coverage to targeted risk factors, participate in developing the scope of monitoring tools to ensure consistent and accurate methods, or recording monitoring activities and outcomes. Subrecipient monitoring may include desk reviews or thorough onsite monitoring.
* Provide technical assistance in compliance with program requirements.
* Draft, route, and track correspondence.
* Performs other duties as required to meet program and departmental goals and objectives.
Emergency Response
In response to emergency events, the incumbent may be required to work irregular hours, to work more than 8 hours per day, to work extended periods (including weekends and holidays), to work at locations other than their official headquarters, and to perform duties in addition to those outlined in the position description. Deploy to communities affected by natural disasters within 24-48 hours of impact to represent the organization to promote and implement post-disaster services.
* Assess the impact, needs and assist with the development of a response strategy and goals for the impacted community and implement disaster response plans.
* Coordinate psychological and mental health resources and services for individuals, first responders, and communities impacted by disasters.
* Provide critical information to the Regional Director and Director of Regional Operations and Initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Two years 'experience working in the field of behavioral services.
* One year of experience writing formal business communications, including emails.
* Two years of experience implementing and managing complex projects.
* A bachelor's degree from a college or university and four years of professional experience in a behavioral health, public administration, or public health field is preferred.
* Professional experience as described above can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the preferred college education.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED equivalency and experience working with Youth between the ages of 14 and 21.
One to two years' experience working with youth that are at risk and/or emotionally disturbed.
Knowledge of mental illness and symptoms, mental health system and supports, community social services systems.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Good skills and abilities in utilizing a personal computer, including work processing, use of basic math and language, handling telephone calls from consumers, some of which may be confrontational, communicating (orally and in writing), coordinating, follow through, interpersonal relations, crisis intervention, organizing work, following procedures and recording information, attention to detail, scheduling work (own and others), organizing work (own and others), working independently, adapting to change, public relations (external and internal), and such other duties that are usually and customarily considered necessary for satisfactory completion of essential duties.
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Primarily indoor (office) work, exposure to potential physical hazard may occur when dealing with difficult or unstable client. Overtime may be required from time to time.
Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
