Responsible for executing technical support activities for GMP Finishing Operations in a multi-product, Fill/Finish CDMO facility. Activities include cross-functional deviation investigations, CAPAs, AIs, targeted innovations, audit support, and overall plant performance. This position will work closely with Quality as well as Operations, Continuous Improvement and Project Management to support site objectives. This role may work overtime and/or an on-call schedule for technical supports and site deviation analysis, as needed.
Non-Negotiable Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in life sciences or equivalent training and/or experience is necessary.
1-2 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing is required.
Strong skillset in root cause analysis, technical writing and CAPA in a GMP environment and/or related LEAN/six-sigma experience.
Preferred Requirements:
Previous experience in a CMO and sterile filling is preferred.
Knowledge of QA principles and procedures in a pharma, biopharma, and/or biotech manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
Work closely with respective team members from Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Project Management and Quality to ensure all documentation (and respective data) is gathered in an expeditious manner for timely completion of deviation investigations.
Ensure appropriate risk analysis, root cause and corrective action tools and identification is used for all deviation investigations.
Author and revise site procedures in a timely manner to address CAPA and corrective actions for deviation investigation and/or site continuous improvement projects.
Assist implementations of targeted new technologies and procedures.
Assist in audit checks for the building and equipment as necessary
Assess, evaluate, and provide immediate corrective actions for GMP discrepancies and intra batch process monitoring, analysis, and reporting.
Serve as first line of defense for all manufacturing excursions, GMP lifecycle management of execution level process data, providing for unit operation (formulation, sterile filling, inspection/labeling).
Support strategic plans for process and plant improvements in order to increase efficiency and manage costs.
Stock PPE as necessary
Maintain vision of the production floor and equipment.
Send Technical Notes to update Maintenance and Management.
Utilize eMaint to compare and verify calibration for equipment.
Train employees on cleaning and corrective actions for equipment.
Effective cross-functional collaboration with Quality, Continuous Improvement, MSAT, AMAs, Operations Supervision and Management.
Assist engineering and validation with implementation, commissioning, and validation of process equipment.
Take corrective action by thinking creatively and problem solving to develop innovative solutions based on sound scientific analysis.
Initiate revisions to cGMP procedures, and master batch records as applicable.
Initiates daily, weekly, and monthly site quality metrics and trend reviews.

As the Regional Technology Specialist, you will:
Be an integral part of J&J MedTech Electrophysiology US Field Sales & Service group reporting to a New Technology Manager (NTM), and closely partnering with, the Regional Business Director (RBDs) and Territory Managers (TMs).
Under the general direction of the manager and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, you will focus on:
Assessing and increasing the clinical competency development for the assigned workgroup's field organization, and assessing team members' clinical skills, identifying internal or external resources to fill training gaps and monitor/track improvement to a level of certification and beyond.

Develop & execute a workgroup-wide certification plan that brings 100% of the group to the targeted level and accurately assesses the clinical skills of assigned per diem clinical support and manages them through the per diem certification process. Measure, and is accountable, to quantifiable learning and growth in their assigned workgroup.
Partner with Sales and Service leaders to execute content for emerging and targeted areas of growth. Partner with various stakeholders including Sales, Marketing and Global Education and Training to execute continual education of all sales and clinical field personnel.
Provide expert clinical product and technicalassistance and training to physicians and EP/IC Lab Staff on the effective use of electrophysiology systems and catheter equipment (e.g., The CARTO System and all appropriate software modules) during case procedures within an assigned geography, and in a manner that leads to meeting and exceeding business goals. Educate assigned customers on all electrophysiology products to optimize effective usage by providing technical and clinical information and in-service training. Share best practices to increase value for customers.
Use and coach aligned workgroups on consultative selling techniques to identify potential sales opportunities within the account. Create awareness of electrophysiology solutions and facilitates Territory Manager (TM) and Clinical Account Specialist (CAS) contact with the key decision makers to drive incremental business.
Drive collaboration and maintains consistent, open lines of communication across the assigned responsibilities with the local team/Pod (i.e. TM and other CAS), as well as the support team (i.e. other EP/Ultrasound CAS, FSE, RBD/KAM) and other internal and external partners.
Develop and share best practices with US Field Sales and Service colleagues and internal partners.
Develop and grow mutually beneficial customer relationships within and beyond the EP/IC lab, including, but not limited to physicians, nurses and technicians, clinical and hospital administrators and staff.
Stay current on company products instructions for use (IFU), best practices and technical troubleshooting, as well as relevant scientific clinical literature and new product information.
Prioritize and appropriately respond to requests in a high-stress environment. Maintain composure and problem-solving focus during stressful interactions.
Engage in diagnostic dialogue with multiple internal and external business partners and stakeholders. Formulate solutions based on dialogue and input gained during session.
Respond daily to requests by email and voicemail from customers, practitioners and partners. Perform administrative work, including CAS Field Visit Letters, training summaries, account documentation, compliance training requirements, expense reporting, and Company system input.
As required, respond to requests for case support to customers for the operation and use of electrophysiology equipment. Set appointments, present clinical and technical information, and be present to ensure optimal equipment usage.
Communicate with counterparts, supervisor, and business partners to ensure efficiency and open lines of communications.
Maintains Safe Fleet standards according to Company guidelines.
Communicate business related issues or opportunities to the next management level.
Ensure subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition.
Ensure personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.

Required Qualifications:
A minimum of a bachelor's degree, or 5 years of relevant professional work experience.

Environmental Factors and Working Conditions
The work environment for this position is a mix of a typical office environment, and visits to properties. Visits to properties may involve travel. Position Summary:

As we enter our tenth successful year of the Summer College Internship Program, we are looking for highly-motivated, hardworking individuals who like to problem-solve, lead projects, participate in key business leader relationships, and recommend improvements to existing processes.
Based in Byron Center, this Service Technician Intern will be asked to:
* Follow and apply safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others.
* Learn and assist with equipment maintenance and basic delivery truck upkeep.
* Develop work order writing and documentation skills to support service operations.
* Gain hands-on experience in rental service processes while supporting daily shop activities.
As an intern at MacAllister Machinery, you will also work cross-functionally and across state lines, collaborate with other interns, and participate in various activities and events throughout the summer.
Qualifications:
* Currently enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year diesel technology program with an accredited college
* Available to work full-time for 12 weeks (May through August)
