Job Description
The purpose of the Trialing Specialist Technician is to support the Trialing Manager in executing research level yield trials on time, with high precision and accuracy in a safe, compliant manner in order to generate the highest quality data to allow identification of superior performing products in corn, soybean and wheat during the growing season. This position will have a determined break period between the growing seasons (approximately 3 months).
Duties:
Function as an integral member of a team responsible for planting, plot maintenance, spraying, note taking (phenotyping) and harvesting research level yield trial plots.
Operation and maintenance of agricultural machinery, and or agricultural research equipment to include: precision planters, drones, automated phenotyping equipment and research combines
Perform all tasks and behaving in a manner compliant with and in support of all safety and stewardship related company policies and practices, including completing all required company training courses.
Support on tasks in order to achieve the Trialing managers desired results, e.g., assisting the team with field layout, planting, phenotyping, harvest.
Effectively and regularly communicate with peers and supervisors regarding the status of projects, status of work related activities, quality and timeliness of data collected.
Qualifications
A.S. degree in an agricultural related discipline preferred and/or equivalent related experience considered. Candidates with relevant operational training or experience outside of agriculture will also be considered.
Experience in operating and maintaining agricultural machinery, and or agricultural research equipment is desirable.
A valid driver's license with an acceptable driver's history is required.
Ability to acquire and maintain a federal medical card to operate commercial motor vehicles is required.
Pesticide Applicators License Holder or ability to acquire.
Must be able to work with a moderate level of supervision while traveling to off-site locations to prepare, plant and accurately collect and manage data obtained from trials.
Plant, spray, maintain and harvest research level corn, soybean and wheat trials to meet data quality standard and operational deadlines.
Experience in the operation, adjustment, maintenance of and ability to do minor repairs on various plot equipment, including a planter, tractor, cultivator, sprayer, combine is desirable.

* Removes and installs interiors including carpeting, insulation, soundproofing, fabric accessories, etc. in aircraft using hand tools according to Duncan Aviation approved procedures.
* Strips materials, preps and repairs panels. Recovers flat work and accessories using various fasteners and hand tools.
* Prepares and paints and dyes miscellaneous plastic, metal and leather parts.
Upholstery/Sewing:
* Prepares seats for upholstering by stripping all foam and covers using various hand tools according to standard operating procedures.
* Disassembles, prepares, repairs, recovers and reassembles seats, miscellaneous seat parts, flatwork including minimal sewing, and accessories for paint.
* Cleans glue off panels and strips materials from parts.
* Foams small chair parts (i.e. armrests, headrests, shell, etc.).
* Uses sewing instruction manuals to sew kit and core seat covers, small seat parts and miscellaneous items (i.e. armrests, headrests shells, curtains, control boots, flight deck armrest and pouches, wind laces, glare shields and crash pads, covers on burn cushions, etc.) for various makes and models of aircraft.
* Patterns small seat parts and miscellaneous items (i.e. armrests, headrests, shells, curtains, control boots, light deck armrest and pouches, wind laces, glare shields and crash pads, etc.).
2. Under immediate supervision researches, prepares, and signs off various documents for record keeping purposes as required by Duncan approved procedures, manufacturers' maintenance manuals, and FAA regulations (i.e. turnovers, removal sheets, flammability testing, W.O. Sheets, personal training log, and other work order related documents supporting the review squawks and expected hours).
3. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

The Surgical Technologist Assistant is involved with assisting in the instrumentation and technical aspect of the operative event.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
Assists in pulling required instrumentation, supplies, and equipment.
Assists in the preparation of rooms with disinfectant, room turnover, and restocking.
May participate in opening sterile supplies under the direction and supervision of the circulator and or scrub tech staff.
Prepares work areas by draping, preparing, and testing equipment and organizing instrumentation.
Scrubs, gowns, and gloves according to the procedure. Assists in gowning and gloving surgeons.
Anticipates the need for instruments, ligatures, sponges, and irrigation, utilizing physician preference cards.
Observes for breaks in sterile technique and calls attention to such, and moves easily within the limits of the sterile field.
Keeps field clean and free of used sponges, suture ends, and instrumentation.
Participates in surgical sponge, needle, sharps, and instrument counts as applicable.
Demonstrates the correct use of surgical equipment and supplies.
May hold retractors under the direction of the surgeon, but at no time will function independently as the only scrub technologist.
May also act as a sterile processing technician.
Requirements:
Current student of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
Current BLS certification required at time of hire.
