Job Responsibilities Complete MPI inspections for service advisors, including estimates and explanations. Test drive vehicles to evaluate noise or vibration concerns. Diagnose and repair vehicles based on identified issues and approved estimates. Test drive vehicles after repairs to ensure concerns have been resolved. Identify and document any additional work needed after inspection or test drive. Accurately complete all required documentation for each repair. Return vehicles to their proper locations. Qualifications Valid driver's license with fewer than 6 points and no major violations. 1 to 3 years of experience as a service technician (manufacturer certifications preferred but not required). Ability to stand for long periods and work in varying temperatures and noise levels. As an Orchestral String Instrument Repair Technician, you will be responsible for determining each customer's repair needs, diagnosing issues, evaluating the sound, and making recommendations on what the best next steps are for repair or restoration. You will use tools alongside your own hearing to diagnose instruments, disassemble and reassemble instruments as needed, and repair or replace instrument parts and components. The ideal candidate will have experience playing and working with orchestral string instruments, have a musical background, and will have excellent problem-solving skills.
