Title: Temporary- Instructional Assistant- Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Education (Pool) Institution: Volunteer State Community College Assist in instructing students to improve skill levels and/or achieve competencies. Employee works with the instructor and students individually, and may help in small groups and in the full class setting to help facilitate effective student learning. Job Duties: Assist students in navigating on-line learning environments. Instruct students one-on-one. Assist faculty in helping students understand and respond to all coursework. Coordinate daily instructional strategy with faculty before class begins. Assist faculty in developing and maintaining student learning plans. Dyersburg State Community College invites applicants for Business adjunct instructors for day, evening, and online classes held in Dyersburg, Covington, Paris, or at one of our other off-campus centers. Initial assignment may be at one of our teaching locations, but the official work station assignment may change each semester. The successful applicant will become certified and fully use the course management system (eLearn) for all classes.
