Use engineering knowledge and experience to continue to improve methods existing methods of product testing. Design new products and/or apply variation of existing products, including pumps and engine control strategy development and testing. Communicate task results and progress through oral and written presentations for internal and external customers. Qualifications: General knowledge of electronic hardware, including sensors, actuators, and motors. Working knowledge of electronic test equipment and instrumentation, including digital oscilloscopes. Ability to organize and plan work on small individual tasks. Must possess good oral and written communication skills. Ability to begin to create electrical schematics and system block diagrams. Basic ability and understanding of programming using either LabVIEW, PLC ladder logic, or other embedded control languages. Experience with software controls and software development tools, preferably in an automotive environment. Prior experience or willingness to learn electromechanical components such as used in gasoline or diesel fuel injection systems. Education and/or Experience: BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or equivalent. Minimum of two years of electrical engineering experience, electronic controls or product testing experience. Preferred some experience in diesel fuel injection equipment and engine test and development. Travel Requirements: Possible travel to customers and suppliers, domestically and internationally.
