Position Overview:
The Line Lead, Cosmeticrole is a front-line supervisor role, responsible for directly managing and developing a team of hourly associates in an Inspection Center to regularly achieve production targets. This role is not visa eligible.
What you'll be doing:
Manage the movement of cars into and out of the Inspection Center safely for repairs, while meeting or exceeding set production and quality goals.
Meet or exceed inventory production goals on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Oversee day-to-day activities of assigned team; identify team's strengths and weaknesses; determine areas of opportunity and the appropriate steps to improve.
Engage assigned team, provide appropriate coaching, development and performance management; offer feedback and demonstrate desired skills.
Create a work and team environment that inspires positive communication, team cohesion, and adherence to Carvana's Values.
Proactively communicate information to team members, providing clear understanding of expectations, performance measures, and goals.
Prevent and resolve conflict among team members.
Monitor and ensure adherence to systems, policies, procedures, and performance standards.
Review and approve identified mechanical and physical defects of incoming inventory.
Lead a team of production associates and partner with the Inspection Center General Manager to repair or reject inventory based on estimated cost of repairs and/or the overall quality of the vehicle.
Train a team of production associates using Quality Control standards to identify and complete repairs effectively and efficiently the first time, minimizing re-checks and delays in production.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (valid unrestricted driver's license with a clean driving record in the last 3 years.
Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently; majority of lifting from knee to shoulder heights; other lifting required from various levels
Requires standing for extended periods of time with frequent stretching, reaching, walking, stooping, pushing, and/or pulling in an environment that may be cold, hot, noisy, and wet and may have fumes or odors due to vehicle maintenance.
Requires use of safety equipment that may include but not limited to face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Ability to maintain high volume and high-quality content in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to effectively delegate tasks to team members.

Position Summary (A Day in the Life)
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for performing routine inspections and audits by the means of visual and dimensional checks of the finished goods produced during the shift. This position will help monitor raw material defects; prepares defect reports to help continuously improve quality of supplied raw materials.
The Quality Control Technician will assist the shift supervisor in the training and overview of the bottle inspectors to insure proper bottle inspection, and packing methods of the daily production produced during the shift.
Primary Responsibilities
Ensures all finished goods meet or exceeds the customer expectations in quality and shipping requirements.
Helps production supervisors direct the shift activities regarding quality and training of all employees in the areas of quality control requirements, standards and procedures, and recognition of materials, which should be scrap vs, regrind.
Follow quality control methods to ensure that all employees can identify product for rejects, rework, etc. and to ensure that all customers receive product, which meet or exceed the customers' standards.
Performs quality checks (visual or dimensional) of product to assure container's meet or exceed customer requirements.
Notifies shift supervisor when bottles do not meet customer specification, ensures that non-conforming material controls are effectively used.
Conducts first article inspection, with appropriate documentation at start-up of production lines.
During quality checks, complete shift quality inspection reports.
Helps maintain quality specifications information regarding bottle drawings, pack patterns, packaging requirements, etc.
Help monitor raw material defects; prepares defect reports and submits to management to help continuously improve quality of supplied raw materials.
Help audit warehouse operations to ensure proper stacking and packing procedures to meet customer specifications.
Help assure GMP, AIB and/or SQF regulations are followed during shift.
Experience/Education
Knowledge and/or willingness to learn the in-house inventory systems and general computer (PC) for all types of data entry, reports and internal communications.
Requires constant visual attention; ability to discern flaws in containers.
High-school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferably a background/knowledge in Safe Quality Food (SQF) Program
Physical Requirements

We're currently looking for a few Quality Technicians with a strong eye for detail and hands-on experience with precision measuring tools. What You'll Do:
Inspect die cast parts using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other precision instruments
Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure products meet tight tolerances and specifications
Document inspection results and communicate any quality concerns to the production team
Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
Follow standard operating procedures and quality standards (ISO 9001 or similar)
What You Bring:
Previous experience in quality inspection, preferably in a die casting or high-precision manufacturing environment
Proficiency with hand-held measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T
Attention to detail and a commitment to doing the job right the first time
High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification is a plus)
Preferred Experience:
Experience with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) equipment
Familiarity with ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 standards
Basic computer/data entry skills for logging inspection data

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Quality Technician is responsible for performing routine production inspections and facilitating root cause analyses to ensure products that do not meet the specifications are distributed.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Test chassis components and drive to evaluate the drive train, steering and other mechanical systems
Complete all paperwork for the inspection and be able to further explain defects identified during testing
Conduct in-process inspections of trucks as they are coming down the assembly line
Perform inspection on production units as they are finished in production
Guide team to cover all production quality inspection demands
Collaborate with other departments to facilitate material timing and escalation
Facilitate problem solving activities, including root cause analysis exercises
Identify systematic issues inside the production process and facilitate solutions and process improvements accordingly
Retrieve Engineering drawings for review and use
Recognize the Quality Management System in place at BM and participate in the processes and procedures of the QMS
Other duties as assigned

Job Description
The Manufacturing Engineering Technician II (MET2) performs all aspects of automated manufacturing equipment repair, troubleshooting, calibration, and preventative maintenance procedures on equipment. This position also assists engineers in developing and refining manufacturing processes. The MET2 must be able to work effectively under limited supervision. This position reports to Area Group Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Uses the PLC to diagnosis and troubleshoot electronic devices
Performs the following electrical tasks:
o Identify/test/repair circuits up to 480 volts
o Wiring
o Troubleshoot integrated circuits to board level
o Interpret schematics
o Understand common industrial electrical components
· Diagnose and troubleshoot vacuum systems and sensors
· Troubleshoot heating systems
· Injection molding experience
· Possesses a working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics including the theory of regulation and flow, valve configurations and troubleshooting, and purge systems
· Possesses mechanical knowledge including fastener applications; the ability to read and modify mechanical drawings; is able to use power and hand mechanical tools; understands basic metallurgy; understands how to replace motors, diagnosis of motor drive systems and basic fabrication.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Minimum educational requirements includes a technical degree or certificate. Minimum experience includes 3 years manufacturing experience preferably in a high-volume, applicable industry. Working knowledge of PLC's inputs and outputs, pneumatic adjustments, common engineering testing procedures (DOE's, PFMEA's, etc.), engineering documentation and reports.
