In 1994, Synopsys also began the process of selling its synthesis, VIIDI, simulation, test, and design re-use software and services to Texas Instruments.

1995

In 1995, the company purchased Silicon Architects because of its pioneering involvement in the development of next-generation gate-array technology, cell-based array.

2002

One of the decisive moments in the final leg of the pursuit was Synopsys' acquisition of Avant! in 2002, which fleshed out de Geus's capabilities in the EDA's most lucrative market segment: developing software for creating the smallest and most complex chips.

2003

Synopsys chased Cadence for years, at last passing the company in late 2003.

2011

Won Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific 2011 Winner Award.

2014

2014/10 Alchip’s IPO on Taiwan Stock Exchange Main Board Listing

2016

2016 Alchip’s Hefei subsidiary was established.
