    The Opportunity Tetra Tech is seeking a full-time Lead Hazard Control Program Manager with management experience specifically associated with housing rehabilitation and lead hazard control associated with lead-based paint. This position may support a variety of contracts, specifically state level clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work successfully both independently and in team settings. This position is based out of our Cincinatti, OH operating unit. Your Role Roles and duties of the Lead Hazard Control Program Manager position includes, but is not limited to: * Coordinating and overseeing daily program operations; * Developing program work plans and policies and procedures for the program with input from Contract Manager, Client Director, and other partners; * Assisting in the completion of federal reporting forms (e.g., quarterly progress and performance reports, funding drawdown, Section 3 annual report, etc.) for submission to HUD; * Providing technical assistance to lead abatement contractors with regard to the program work plan, work specifications and workflow; * Providing direct supervision of the bidding process for paint inspections/risk assessments,clearance examinations, lead project specifications and lead hazard control work, ensuring lowest responsive and responsible bidder is selected; * Providing quality assurance by conducting random site visits, periodic review of technical reports (e.g. risk assessment and clearance examination reports), work scope specifications, occupant protection plans, and income verification forms; * Possessing a strong knowledge and experience with HUD, State of Ohio, and/or other State lead programs; and * Assisting in the development of agreements between respective partners. Travel, work in client offices, oral presentations and training, and written report preparation will be required. The preferred candidate will be able to manage project schedules and budgets. Qualifications 5-10 years of management experience specifically associated with housing rehabilitation and lead hazard control associated with lead based paint. Experience with the administration of federal programs and/or knowledge of housing programs. Experience with communication, coordination, and management of family/tenant relocation during housing rehabilitation. Experience performing lead risk assessments, developing lead abatement bid specifications, and conducting post rehabilitation inspections. Experience with coordination and completion of HUD required documentation associated with lead hazard control programs. This position requires driving on a regular basis. Passing a motor vehicle record background check and maintaining a valid driver's license and good standing is required. Degree / Certifications Bachelor's degree in a related field is required. Advanced degrees and additional certifications or training is a plus. The preferred candidate will have current Lead Risk Assessor and Lead Abatement Contractor certifications. Work Environment Role responsibilities will require occasional project site and client visits up to approximately 25%, which could include overnight travel.
