Here's What You Need
+ H.S. Diploma or Equivalent preferred
+ 6 months of Hospital or Hotel cleaning experience strongly preferred
What You Will Do
+ Empty, clean and reline trash containers.
+ Properly dispose of all waste including biohazardous materials.
+ Assist supervisor with training new hires and in-service training with staff.
+ Clean restrooms, restocking dispensers. Dust hard surface floors/vacuum carpets.
+ Perform patient interviews on incoming and discharging patients to inform them of the expectations from the EVS department.
+ Additional cleaning and bed making as required by patient discharge or transfer to include removal of clinical support equipment and supplies as well as soiled linen.
+ Follows-up on complaints and concerns made by patients, family members and staff.

Position Overview:
Cleans/disinfects hospital patient rooms, surgical area, procedural areas, bath, laboratories, offices, halls, and other areas. Maintains supplies and orders necessary equipment as appropriate. Observes proper handling and disposal of biohazardous waste.
