Position Overview:
This position requires industrial mechanical knowledge, some electrical, including but not limited to the responsibilities listed below. This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Diagnose and repair all machinery and process malfunctions. Must be fluent in mechanical troubleshooting, electrical troubleshooting a plus.
Diagnose and repair all mechanical power transmission equipment - knowledge of Gearboxes, mechanical drives, and variable speed applications.
Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems - knowledge of cylinders, valves, manifolds, vacuum systems, air filtration, and lubrication devices.
Diagnose, repair, and overhaul process pumps, automatic control valves, sensors, positioners, actuators, basic electrical AC/DC troubleshooting, and related systems.
Proficient knowledge of bearings, pulleys, chain drives, belt drives, and lubricants standards and applications.
Read and decipher mechanical drawings, schematics, and piping diagrams.
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience in installation and repair of mechanical, electrical, pumps, and valve cluster arrangements required.
Experience with VFDs, control systems (PLC's/HMI's), electrical protective devices with some knowledge of calibration procedures and equipment.
Skilled in the application and use of mechanical tools, hand tools, and power tools. 480v 3 phase knowledge required.
Excellent mechanical troubleshooting ability, electrical a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge and practice of NFPA 70E preferred.
2+ years' experience and demonstrated history of troubleshooting and repairing equipment (described above), personal/process control computers, programmable logic controllers (PLC), and Networking devices. Allen Bradley and/or Siemens experience preferred.
Skilled in the machine shop to machine within specific tolerance using various measuring equipment - i.e. verniers, calipers, depth gauges, etc.
Skilled in welding, sanitary welding, pipe fitting, soldering, and rigging is desired
The pay range for this position is
$34.14 - $40.96
per hour. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. JOB SUMMARY: This position is primarily responsible for performing those duties assigned to the exterior maintenance and repair of the airport's facility and equipment including runways, taxiways, perimeter fencing, grounds, roadways, and parking lots.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Perform physical labor required to maintain exterior grounds, grass, pavement, fencing, garages, etc. to include cleaning grounds, emptying trash, mowing grass, raking leaves, mulching, maintaining flower beds, trimming hedges and trees, blowing and edging, tree removal, repairing potholes and storm drains.
Keep drains and catch basins clear.
Pressure wash, wax and polish signs, terminal buildings, sidewalks and parking booths.

Move office furniture, planters, etc. as directed.
Plant trees and shrubs.
Operate all equipment and tools safely and properly, as directed.

Description of Responsibilities: Performs routine maintenance functions on the landscaping, grounds, roads, irrigation, and utilities belonging to the Commission through use of general labor and equipment.
Required Education and Experience:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent level of education.
Required Skills:
Working knowledge of modern methods of ground and utilities maintenance including cutting lawns, trimming and edging, pruning trees and shrubs, raking leaves, and removing litter.
Must be able to make repairs to Commission security fences, irrigation systems, and water systems including fire hydrants and storm drains.
Must be physically able to operate a variety of machines, tools and equipment which includes a motor vehicle, computer, generator, shovel, power tools, hand tools, etc.

Primary Responsibilities

Experience working with conveyors, electrical components, bailers, eddy currents, optical sorters, motors, glass breakers, wire tie system, fans, and pumps

Ability to read and understand repair manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics necessary to troubleshoot or repair component failure.
Ability to perform physical requirements of the job (prolonged physical exertions, including but not limited to standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in awkward positions and tight areas).
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to perform under limited supervision
Requires a flexible work schedule, which may include nights, and weekends to support operating schedule and needs of the facility.
Recommends measures to improve production, equipment performance and product quality.
Responsible for monitoring and maintaining the operation of all plant systems and equipment. Including but not limited to, balers, conveyor belts, gear boxes, electrical motors, pulleys, shafts, and bearings.
This position must respond to all system failures by taking appropriate corrective action by completing or assigning the repairs needed to ensure the systems are operational and functioning both safely and accurately.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Perform repair and maintenance on Recycle Plant Equipment in a safe manner in compliance with all local, state and federal regulations and company policies.
Perform inspections, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment.
Completes day to day tasks under limited supervision
