Partner with and support project managers on the implementation of projects, including inventory tracking, project scheduling, last planner task and internal punch lists
Gain knowledge of the systems and services the Company provides its customers via instructor-led and online training
Work to acquire understanding of standard issues, develop and maintain documentation, identify trends, and make suggestions to improve support processes
Partner with project managers in the continuation of business development and building relationships
Collaborate with internal and external customers to maintain project schedules
Assist project managers in supporting field staff by providing accurate and on time project information

Promote Baker Group through participation in sales calls
Develop successful relationships with internal and external customers and other professionals in the industry
Meet with clients at various stages of sales cycle
Create Service Agreement cost estimates and proposal documents
Coordinate delivery of each contract to achieve expected gross profit level
Ensure that contractual obligations are met and quality of work is considered excellent by client standards
Build on relationships that effectively promote the company's interests with building owners, tenants, prime contractors, subcontractors, and architects/engineers etc.
Meet with customers to understand their needs and our track record for successful fulfillment of service
Promote Baker Group services to potential and existing customers
Participate in high level cross selling with potential clients
Understand and utilize our accounting software to manage service agreement processes, including cost estimating, scheduling, delivery and invoicing tools
Ensure contracts achieve expected gross profit level
Utilize multi-step sales process from targeting through contract delivery
Develop pipeline of new targets that lead to a sustainable book of business

This is a hybrid internship, working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in our downtown Louisville, KY office and Monday and Friday remote. The intern must be able to work full time during the summer, 37.5-40 hours per week, and work part time during the school semesters, 15-20 hours per week. We are seeking a local student who can start in May 2026.
The Impact You'll Make:
Provide strong client service using a combination of effective communication and troubleshooting skills to resolve client issues and fulfill requests, both over the phone and desk side
Utilize knowledge management system when troubleshooting client issues
Document, track and monitor client incidents and requests in ticketing system to ensure timely and accurate resolution

Hands on training opportunity for someone to learn various aspects of the hotel business. This position is a “utility player” who will rotate throughout various food and beverage departments and positions based upon business need. **Department Assignments**
Interns will be assigned to one of the Banks headquarter departments based on the Banks' current needs and Intern Candidates' skillset. We anticipate assigning Summer Interns to the following work:
_Credit -_ Our Commercial Banking team makes a huge impact by lending to businesses that develop and revitalize our communities. The Credit department is charged with assessing the credit worthiness of prospective and current commercial clients. They ensure that the Banks follow a credit policy while working closely with commercial bankers to meet the financial needs of the businesses in our communities. Credit associates evaluate financial statements, credit reports, tax returns, and other business records with close attention to detail. They are great communicators with the desire to work collaboratively and in the best interests of both the Banks and the clients. At the end of the term, the Intern will have a basic understanding of the commercial banking line of business and be better able to assess whether commercial banking is a suitable career path. _Support or Risk Departments_ - The Banks have a number of support and risk departments, including for example, Data Analytics, Finance, Robotic Process Automation, Information Technology, Bank Secrecy Act, Compliance, Deposit & Loan Operations, Marketing, and Financial Intelligence. The departments are subject matter experts and critical to the sound functioning of the Banks. The department assignment will depend upon the Bank's needs and the intern's experience. Commercial Loan Servicing (CLS) provides back-office operations support for commercial, business banking, and various specialty lending products. About This Job
The Commerce Trust intern will assist various departments (Financial Planning, Institutional, Private Client, Private Banking, Portfolio Management, Business Development, Foundation) by collaborating directly with key members from each group. The internship will entail short rotations through each department throughout the Internship period. ORGANIZATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Associate complies with the following organizational requirements:
* Attends and participates in department meetings and is accountable for all information shared.
* Completes mandatory education, annual competencies, and department specific education within established timeframes.
* Completes annual employee health requirements within established timeframes.
* Maintains license/certification, registration in good standing throughout fiscal year.
* Direct patient care providers are required to maintain current BCLS (CPR), and other certifications as required by position/department.
* Consistently utilizes appropriate universal precautions, protective equipment, and ergonomic techniques to protect patient and self.
* Adheres to regulatory agency requirements, survey process and compliance.
* Complies with established organization and department policies.
* Available to work overtime in addition to working additional or other shifts and schedules when required.
