Build rapport with customers by asking quality questions to help meet their needs.
Responsible for management of staff including:
Provides mentoring, encouragement, and support to help develop each staff member to their full potential.
Conducts regularly scheduled staff meetings and one-on-one meetings.
Oversee bankingcenter personnel which includes scheduling and approving days off.
Conducts performance evaluations.
Distributes disciplinary action as needed.
Responsible for operations of the bankingcenter including:
Encourages and complies with CSB's policies and procedures and ensure bankingcenter is operationally sound.
Operates bankingcenter within CSB established guidelines for customer service standards and retail ready standards.
Monitors account overdrafts for the bankingcenter. Approves or returns NSF items according to policy.
Assists bankingcenter personnel in resolving difficult transactions and/or sensitive customer relation problems.
Conducts monthly audits of CSR drawers, ATM, and the bankingcenter vault and reports findings to the Security Officer.
Complete customer transactions and establishing new deposit accounts as outlined in the Retail Services Handbook.
Responsible for sales revenue and growth including:
Establishes and executes calling program designed to meet or exceed agreed upon growth goals.
Contacts customers, businesses, community, and civic organizations to promote goodwill and generate new business.
Works with existing customers to expand relationships and grow business.
Encourages and coaches staff to participate in meeting Service and Scorecard goals.
Provide customer referrals to bank personnel as appropriate. Work closely and collaboratively with CSB business partners including Consumer and Commercial Lenders, Cash Management, and Wealth Management.
Project a positive image of CSB within the community through involvement in local organizations.
Responsible for all consumer, non-mortgage lending activities.
Examines, evaluates, and processes consumer loan applications; approves or rejects loans within specified limits, and/or conducts loan closing.
Oversees the overall process and procedure surrounding indirect lending activities and maintains relationships with the indirect dealer(s).
Maintains billing files and floor plan audits for commercial customers with floor plan loans.
Demonstrates a commitment to CSB's vision, mission, and core values and seeks to align one's behavior in such a way that gives these foundational principles the best chance at becoming a reality.
Education and/or Experience: A high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required. A four-year, business-related degree is preferred. A minimum of four years of experience in retail banking is required.

About the role:
The BankingCenterManager position is responsible for the day-to-day duties of managing a banking office and assisting their respective SVP, Retail Banking in oversight of the sales, operations, customer service, and business development within the market, including profits and productivity.
