The National Ad Campaign ($30 million) for Cooperative Education in 1985 brought cooperative education to the forefront of university and college administrators as well as employers.
Internship is added to CEA making the organization new name CEIA (late 1990’s)
Funding continued from the federal government through 1992, when Congress ended its support of co-operative education.
1998 the Accreditation Council for Cooperative Education was established with 12 college and university programs accredited to date.
