We seek a skilled and reliable Plumbing Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential settings. The Cooling Field Service Engineer is responsible for commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing cooling systems in the data center. Principal Duties/Responsibilities: · Performs expert level break-fix & preventative maintenance. This includes but is not limited to: observing devises in operation to location root cause of problem; dismantling devices to gain access to and remove defective parts; examining parts to detect imperfections; adjustment of functional parts of devices and control instruments; repair and/or replacement of defective parts; testing of device to observe performance; and performing tests for electrical circuitry and mechanical systems; reconditioning and repairing machine tools. · Identifies and sources parts, supplies and repair items as necessary. Performs evaluations of alternatives to improve cost and / or reliability of equipment. · Independently performs maintenance as per industry standards. · Works with customer counterparts to optimize maintenance, reliability, and preventative maintenance procedures. · May be required to setup and operate multiple machining operations including but not limited to: lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts. May perform welding tasks. · Conforms and complies with customer contractor codes of conduct, housekeeping standards, and safety processes · Documents work performed in service reports, applicable management systems, and written explanation regarding observation and collected equipment performance data. · Provides assistance to lower level technicians and leadership to project teams. Performs expert functions as a part of training and development. · Troubleshoots and analyzes complex control systems to resolve in-depth software/ hardware and configuration problems. · Utilizes advanced maintenance technologies to collect equipment performance data. Observes trends and makes recommendations. · Completes and conducts on-the-job training and technical self-study programs for career development. · Follows all safety related policies, rules, regulations, technical instructions and guidelines. Situational awareness and identify unsafe behaviors and conditions. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs), & Competencies: Essential KSAs: · High School Graduate or equivalent (GED). · Associates degree with a Technical focus and 10 years of related experience in specific industry; or, 12 years of experience in specific industry. · Possesses comprehensive understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems. Can analyze the problem, synthesize alternative solutions, and perform repairs. · Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate. · Extensive travel required. (Local, National). Applicants can live anywhere within the Continental U.S Desirable KSAs: · Experience in condition based maintenance techniques, precision mechanical alignments, and maintenance of applicable process equipment. · Experience in programmable logic controllers, field device troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical drive and motor systems. MGX Field Crane Technicians are responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of various crane equipment including mobile cranes and boom trucks. This position will be located at the Baton Rouge, Louisiana branch for MGX Equipment Services and reports to the Service Manager. *Candidates hired for this role will receive a $4,500 sign-on bonus, payable after 90 days continuous service; and be eligible for our Tool Reimbursement Program of up to $1,500 per calendar year ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Diagnose, repair and troubleshoot various mobile hydraulic and lattice cranes. Capable of accomplishing tasks independently without direct supervision. Perform thorough and accurate annual inspections. Properly fills out working reports, hours reports, time sheets, hours overviews and expense reports. Provides excellent customer service. Other duties as assigned. JOB REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Mechanic/Technician. Experience working with different forms of mobile crane equipment, specifically Grove RT & TMS Cranes; Grove GMK European Cranes; Manitowoc EPIC and/or Traditional Cranes; National Boom Trucks preferred. Must be able to read both electrical and hydraulic schematics. Must be able to travel 50% of the time to job sites and for training as required. Must have excellent communication skills with a customer/client focus. Must possess a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record. Basic computer skills preferred. HEALTH & SAFETY REQUIREMENTS: Perform job functions in a safe manner. Wear all Personal Protective Equipment (P.P.E.) required by Company policy for the job being performed. Know and follow established job specific and facility wide safety and health procedures and rules.
