    The maintenance workers are responsible for the specified and/or general upkeep of the Harbor Light Complex and its surrounding grounds (i.e. mini-park, parking lot). pays $16.00 /hr This position is 20 hrs per week. Responsibilities Notify the Facilities Manager and co-workers regarding any delays with work projects . Floor maintenance - i.e. sweeping, mopping & buffing floors. Flooring - i.e. installation of sub floor, VCT tile and cove base. Facility garbage - removal and disposal of all trash. Restrooms - cleaning/sanitizing urinals, toilets, sink and mirrors. Replacement of light bulbs, lens, switches and wall plate covers. Loading and unloading of deliveries and dumpsters. Installation / removal of window air conditioning units. Cleaning of roof and drains. Snow shoveling/plowing, salting of all HLC facility sidewalks, driveways, entrances and parking lot. Assist lead maintenance worker and co-workers with various assignments. Thoroughly complete and return paperwork in a timely fashion. Operate elevator as needed Must be able to work overtime in case of an emergency or when deemed necessary. Work in a laundry room with temperatures around 90 degrees. Washing, drying folding linen. Push cart throughout building collecting and distributing linen mop heads. Keep inventory of all housekeeping equipment Maintain open lines of communication with all staff members. Adhere to all written personnel and program policies of The Salvation Army Qualifications Must be able to routinely lift and carry boxes weighing 50 pounds or more. Must be able to use stairs, when necessary, for building evacuations, drills or during elevator maintenance. The Cemetery Grounds and Maintenance Worker assists in the daily maintenance of facilities and grounds in the cemetery. This includes lawn mowing, trimming, watering, etc. This individual must uses all types of small engine equipment, including hand mowers, trimmers and weed eaters. This position also assists in the setup, lowering and interment of human remains. Requirements Essential Job Functions Mow lawns, trim markers, edge roads and pathways, assist with sprinkler repair, paints and cleans cemetery grounds Ability to operate hand-held tools and equipment, including, but not limited to a shovel, pick, rake, sledge hammer, lawn mower, weed trimmer and leaf blower Assist in the set up, opening, interment/entombment, closing of burial sites Installs grave markers, bronze memorials, crypt faces, etc Provide general maintenance of the cemetery grounds and buildings in a professional and safe manner and in accordance with guidelines established by Catholic Cemeteries Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time Ability to lift up to 150 with equipment assistance Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Ability to operate small equipment Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends Minimum Qualifications Must have a valid Arizona driver's license Over the age of 21
