Under the supervision of the Healthy Living Director, the Fitness Coach will assist with motivating and educating our fitness members in leading healthy lifestyles. Required Qualifications and Experience
Minimum MSW degree with licensure preferred.

Professional, mature and dependable with a bias for action.
Ability to assess and engage youth and families is critical to the position.

Job Purpose

Oversees the safety condition of the facility or area in which assigned sport is conducted at all times that clients are present
Reports injuries to the Athletic Coordinator through personal communication, as well as completing and submitting incident reports to Coordinator and documenting in electronic system (Foothold Technology).
Exercises great care in dealing with minor injuries involving simple first aid. In all cases, the coach should assure that the injured athlete receiving competent medical care. Following injuries of a serious or prolonged nature, the coach should secure the signed approval of the doctor and parent before the athlete is allowed to participate again in athletic activities

Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseRequirements:
Two or Four-year degree in Exercise Science or related field preferred but not required.
Nationally accredited certification (preferred: NSCA, ACSM, NASM)
Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification

The Job: Are you an experienced social worker who is passionate about working with youth and teens in an engaging summer camp environment? If so, this might be the job for you! As the Community Wellness Coach, you will be responsible for ensuring the positive resolution of any and all camper and staff issues that may arise during the camp season, including, but not limited to, socialization, conflict resolution, mental health, and homesickness. You are expected to provide campers and staff with meaningful and critical guidance to make healthy, responsible, and respectful choices. Service Skills:

Part-Time Wellness Coach; 4-hour shift
