Job Summary:
As the Data Analytics Analyst II at Endeavor Health, you will be responsible for providing analytical support to Endeavor Health's Research Institute (RI) as a whole. This includes gathering, analyzing and reporting on various types of data and communicating results of analysis to research teams, corporate and divisional management. This position will serve as key subject matter expert on Endeavor's data and reporting systems which are out of Epic, Data warehouse, Vizient, PowerBI and other reporting tools for customers at all levels of the organization. Endeavor Research Institute is an established research entity of the organization and is among the most prominent and accomplished research organizations in the nation. It has recently undergone a comprehensive transformation into a scalable research entity comprised of 8 Clinical Research Units (CRU) serving every clinical research need of the organization and inspiring new research ideas among clinicians and scientists serving patients of Endeavor Health. The Data Analytics research analytics team is positioned under IT and RI as the 9th CRU, called CRU9 and serves all of the research analytics needs of Endeavor.
To be successful in this role, you will be expected to remain updated on the latest solutions and technologies and advocate for the adoption of industry best practices. Our ideal candidate would also have research background, with an additional benefit of having prior exposure to Women's Health Services research.
What you will do:
* Participate in the analytics-based improvement projects that leverage data collected from electronic medical record to measure patient outcomes.
* Gather business requirements by conducting meetings with primary research investigators (PI).
* Produces valuable insights from data and contributes to making evidence-based decisions.
* Design and develop reports, dashboards, and data insights using skills developed using analytics software and programming languages.
* Work with RI scientists and clinicians to analyze data that will help drive decisions on patient centered interventions, compete for new external funding from NIH, NSF, and private sources, support clinical trials with data insights, and help share acquired knowledge from research via journal publications and conference presentations.
* Contribute to drafting and refining research manuscripts, providing input on data analysis and data visualization, contributing to the methods, discussion and results sections, ensuring analysis methods and findings are accurately represented.
* Assist and coach newer researchers on study design, ensuring adherence to best practices.
* Perform data preprocessing, cleaning, and transformation tasks, ensuring datasets are properly structured and ready for analysis.
* Partner with the data science team to conduct in-depth data analysis. Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of research data throughout the process.
* Act as a data steward, ensuring adherence to data security and privacy guidelines when sharing data with the research teams. Monitor compliance with data protection protocols, ensuring that all data sharing follows organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
* Manage and maintain large datasets, ensuring they are properly stored, organized, and accessible to all research team members. Identify potential issues in data collection or processing and proactively resolve discrepancies or gaps before they impact the research outcomes.
* Work with data warehouse experts to design and develop data engineering requirements in the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
* Utilize data analysis techniques and tools to assess data quality, identify patterns, trends, and anomalies, and generate insights to improve data reliability
* Ensure all developed solutions are tuned to meet acceptable system performance thresholds.
* Remains updated on latest healthcare technologies available in the market and promotes the adoption of relevant technologies. Engaged with industry related organizations, such as HIMSS, Epic UGM / XGM, Vizient, Microsoft/PowerBI as appropriate.

What you will need:
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Basic Science or equivalent work experience. Master's or Terminal/Doctorate preferred.
* Certification: not required upon hire, will have opportunity to attend training to receive Epic certification(s).
* Experience: Five (5) or more years of relevant experience.
* Unique or Preferred Skills:
* Exposure to electronic health records (EHR) - Epic ideal.
* Familiarity with healthcare industry or healthcare information systems.
* Statistical or mathematical skills or experience working with statistics packages (Python, SPSS, SAS, R etc.).
* Prior work experience in Research.
* Prior exposure to data and research projects related to OBGYN/Women's Health Services.

* Strong intellectual curiosity.
* 4-year college degree in information systems, computer science, mathematics, finance, statistics, or a related field.
* Demonstrated proficiency in writing complex database queries using SQL or other related tools or languages.
* Experience and understanding of analytics databases, warehouse, datalakes for both traditional/relational and non-traditional systems (e.g. Oracle, MS-SQL Server, Hadoop, Spark, etc.).
* Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, etc.).
* Skilled in Utilizing Process/Performance improvement methodologies (IHI, Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
* Analytic, problem solving, and issue resolution skills.
* Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.

The Role: Staff DataScientist, Machine Learning (Risk)
As a Staff DataScientist focused on Machine Learning for Risk, you'll play a key role in protecting our customers and platform. You'll work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and operations to design and deploy models that detect, prevent, and mitigate fraud risk across Gemini's ecosystem. You'll own the full machine learning lifecycle from identifying fraud signals and engineering features to training, evaluating, and deploying models in production. You'll partner with stakeholders across Trust & Safety, Exchange Growth, and Credit Card to improve risk scoring, detect new fraud patterns, and enhance our ability to distinguish bad actors from trusted customers. This is a high-impact, hands-on individual contributor role with opportunities for technical leadership and mentorship.
This role is required to be in person twice a week at either our San Francisco, CA or New York City, NY office.
Responsibilities:
Analyze large, complex datasets to identify key fraud indicators and engineer predictive features using internal and external data sources.
Design, train, and deploy machine learning models to identify and prevent fraud, including payment fraud, account takeovers, and identity abuse.
Build and maintain end-to-end data and model pipelines for risk scoring, anomaly detection, and behavioral profiling.
Evaluate model performance through experiments, backtesting, and continuous monitoring to improve capture rates and reduce false positives.
Partner with product managers, engineers, and fraud operations to translate model outputs into effective prevention strategies and user-facing features.
Communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences, influencing strategy and prioritization.
Stay current on emerging fraud tactics and machine learning approaches to continually evolve Gemini's defenses.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
8+ years of experience (5+ years with PhD) applying data science and machine learning to financial, payments, or fraud-related problems.
3+ years of experience developing, deploying, and maintaining production-grade ML models, ideally for real-time or large-scale applications.
Strong proficiency in Python and relevant modeling libraries (eg, scikit-learn, xgboost, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and SQL.

Salary Range: The base salary range for this role is between $168,000 - $240,000 in the State of New York, the State of California and the State of Washington. About the Team
The fraud risk management team at Rain creates sophisticated, scalable risk mitigation solutions to protect our customers and provide them a low-friction experience. Own the metrics, dashboards, and reports that inform business strategy and decision-making

The Role: Principal DataScientist, Machine Learning (Growth)
As a Principal DataScientist focused on Machine Learning for Growth, you'll play a key role in improving our customer experience from onboarding to new product adoption. You'll work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and operations to design and deploy models that improve customer onboarding and product adoption across Gemini's ecosystem. You'll own the full machine learning lifecycle from identifying growth signals and engineering features to training, evaluating, and deploying models in production. Responsibilities:
Analyze large, complex datasets to identify opportunities to proactively improve onboarding and product adoption opportunities and engineer predictive features using internal and external data sources.
Design, train, and deploy machine learning models to identify growth opportunities, including lifetime value, marketing channel optimization, and product cross-sell models.
Build and maintain end-to-end data and model pipelines for marketing and growth, including onboarding & adoption anomaly detection and behavioral profiling of growth drivers.

Minimum Qualifications:
10+ years of experience (7+ years with PhD) applying data science and machine learning in financial, payments, or B2C platforms.
5+ years of experience developing, deploying, and maintaining production-grade ML models, ideally for real-time or large-scale applications.
Strong proficiency in Python and relevant modeling libraries (eg, scikit-learn, xgboost, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and SQL.
Experience with data processing and model lifecycle tools such as Databricks, SageMaker, Snowflake, MLflow, or similar.
Familiarity with orchestration and data pipeline frameworks (e.g., Airflow, Spark).
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and operations teams.

Salary Range: The base salary range for this role is between $192,500 - $275,000 in the State of New York, the State of California and the State of Washington. Responsibilities
Build, sustain and scale econometric models (MMM) for Disney Streaming Services with support from data engineering and data product teams
Quantify ROI on marketing investment, determine optimal spend range across the portfolio, identify proposed efficiency caps by channel, set budget amounts and inform subscriber acquisition forecasts
Support ad hoc strategic analysis to provide recommendations that drive increased return on spend through shifts in mix, flighting, messaging and tactics, and that help cross-validate model results

About the Role

What You Need:
Demonstrated expertise with data analytics and/or statistical concepts such as: regression, logistic regression, time-series modeling, Bayesian statistics, machine learning, data mining, simulation, optimization, and/or forecasting
Ability to communicate technical processes to a lay audience
Presentation experience
Curiosity and passion for solving problems with data
8+ years of professional experience working with large datasets
8+ years of professional experience and full fluency with statistical programming software (including Python, Spark)
8+ years of professional experience with database software (RedShift, Hive, SQL, MYSQL) - full mastery of some flavor of SQL
Master's Degree in Statistics, Data Science, Economics, or a related technical field
Nice to Have:
Experience with automotive market data
Professional expertise deploying cloud-based ML Ops systems
Experience working with AWS tools (Sagemaker, Glue, Batch, Lamdba…)
Some shareable examples of data visualizations you have created
Experience deploying machine learning models into production with an API
PhD in Statistics, Data Science, Economics, or related field

Position Overview
This role will be responsible for applying data mining techniques, cleaning data, incorporating AI and predictive models, and visualizing data to solve problems and innovate new ways of working for the global business. Effective communication skills, organization, innovative thinking, and a will to learn current business processes and new data science techniques are essential.
Key Responsibilities:

* Translate data & analytics into business insights by working with global leaders and regional functional teams.
* Design workflow with models using AI and machine learning models
* Enhance data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems and to include more automation
* Build workflows with advanced algorithms and models such as OCR, Translation, Generative AI etc. on data to extract or transform data to conform to business needs.
* Identify, process, cleanse, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis
Secondary Responsibilities:
* Ability to achieve project goals and objectives by applying the discipline of planning, organizing, and managing resources to bring about successful project completion
* Continuously seek out industry best practice and skills to develop new capabilities for data analytics at McCormick and help drive our digital transformation
Required Qualifications
Level of Education and Discipline:
* Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Analytics/Science, or related field
* Level of Education and Discipline: Master's Degree in related field
Experience - functional/industry/commercial knowledge, business acumen:
* Advanced analytical skillset. Proficiency in cleaning, visualizing, analyzing, and presenting insights from data sets
* Demonstrated ability coding in one or more languages (Python preferred)
* Experience with data visualization software (Power BI preferred)
* Experience working with statistical models and AI algorithms
Interpersonal Skills - leadership, interactions, communication, influence:
* Strong technical curiosity and passion for problem solving and innovation
* Ability to simplify and communicate complex information to internal audiences
