This role will work closely with physical and occupational therapists, orthopedic surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to provide specialized, evidence-based therapy for patients with upper extremity conditions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Evaluate and treat patients with injuries or conditions of the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder.
Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on physician referrals and clinical findings.
Fabricate custom orthoses and splints for post-operative and non-operative management.
Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and multidisciplinary providers in clinic to coordinate patient care and optimize recovery
Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and ergonomic practices.
Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with practice standards and regulatory requirements.
Maintain current knowledge of best practices in hand therapy and rehabilitation.
Assist in mentoring junior therapists or students, if applicable.
QUALIFICATIONS

Proficient in orthosis fabrication and post-operative protocols; strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills; commitment to ongoing professional development and collaborative care; prior experience in an orthopedic or outpatient rehabilitation setting; familiarity with EMR systems; experience with performance improvement or quality initiatives in rehab care.

Certification by the Hand Therapy Certification Commission (HTCC) as a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT); degree from a baccalaureate/university program in occupational or physical therapy approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association or American Physical Therapy Association required; Current License to practice as an Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist in the state of Michigan; CPR/BLS certification required. What Will You Do?
As a Clinical Psychologist at Pine Rest, you'll be part of tight-knit team that believes in the healing power of your expertise and compassion. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Participates in the interviewing of persons served and assessing them through mental status as well as reviewing records obtained from other patient care staff.
Selects and completes appropriate therapeutic interventions based upon clinical knowledge base and educational background (to include individual, group, family, experiential, and evidence-based models).
Collaborates with other treatment team members regarding patients' progress through interdisciplinary team meetings, record review, and informal discussions.
Ensures that medical record documentation protocols are complied with. Ensures that persons' served progress notes are entered into the medical records on a timely basis and in accordance with established organizational and departmental procedures.
May coordinate services and community resources as needed and assist person's served in obtaining them.

Recommended Employment Qualifications
Education:

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
This position requires State of Michigan certifications or licensure as specified per program.
Certification as a Sex Offender Treatment Specialist with the Forensic Training Institute is preferred.
Michigan Certification Board for Addiction Professionals and Certified Advance Alcohol and Drug Counselor Certificate of MCBAP CAADC Development Plan required if providing Substance Use Disorder Services.
Bi-lingual; Spanish-Speaking individual is preferred.

Your Role: Clinical Psychologist - Assessment Focus
We are seeking a fully licensed Clinical Psychologist with expertise in psychological testing and diagnostic evaluation, particularly in ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorders. In this role, you will:
Deliver comprehensive psychological assessments that provide individuals and families with clarity, direction, and hope.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to design impactful treatment pathways.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Conduct diagnostic evaluations using evidence-based tools for ADHD, ASD, and other neurodevelopmental conditions.
Prepare thorough, timely documentation that meets clinical and organizational standards.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and other care providers to support integrated treatment plans.
Educate and support families through the assessment process.
Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to team training and innovation.
Optional: Engage in forensic psychological assessments, court consultations, and expert witness work with mentorship support.
What Does the Role Require?
Fully Licensed Psychologist in the State of Michigan (or eligibility to obtain licensure).
Doctoral degree in Psychology from an American Psychological Association (APA)-accredited program.
1-2 years of postdoctoral clinical experience to gain adequate understanding of Pine Rest policies and procedures in order to develop skills in patient assessment and development of treatment plans.
Experience or strong interest in conducting psychological evaluations for ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Willingness to apply for Affiliate or Courtesy Affiliate Medical Staff membership, as required.
