Founded in 1958 by Troy W. Thompson, Jr., P.E., Thompson Construction Co., LLC is a general contracting and construction management company that specializes in commercial, industrial and private construction, with a particularly strong performance in food and retail store construction.
James R. Thompson, Inc. (JRT) was established in 1983 when our patriarch & founder Jim Thompson saw a need for a General Contractor who specialized in high-end Tenant Finish-Out.
In 1987, Bob Thompson continued the family legacy when he founded Thompson Masonry in Harleysville, PA with about a dozen employees and a passion to build.
Thompson Construction Inc. was founded in 1997 by Rob Thompson.
Thompson Contracting Group, Inc. was founded in 1999 by retired Master Diver, SgtMaj.
Following in his grandfather’s footsteps, Troy Thompson, IV also joined Thompson Construction in 2010.
