Co-founder of the American Society of Golf Course Architects in 1948
Since opening in March 1993, the golf course at Hope Island has consistently ranked in Australia’s top ten resort courses.
Mountain Brook opened in 1996 which hosts dramatic views of the desert hills and massive Superstition Mountains.
Host to the 1997 Johnnie Walker Classic and Qantas Legends Golf Classic, the course is both nationally and internationally renowned.
Dove Valley Ranch opened in 1998 and is essentially a desert style golf course with hints of tradition, such as ample fairways and subtly contoured greens with openings in front, featuring a low, rolling mix of holes of varying difficulty.
The par-71 Trilogy Golf Club at Power Ranch located in the southeast Phoenix Valley, designed by golf course architect Dick Bailey, Opened in 1999.
Inducted to Ontario Golf Hall of Fame in 2000
Thomson, Wolveridge and Associates estimated that the Golf Course replacement costs (excluding land and the Clubhouse Facilities) as at 30 May 2008, would be between $22 million and $25 million.
Inducted to Canada’s Sport Hall of Fame in 2015
