The Safety Manager ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and company safety requirements. Responsible for continuous leadership, recruitment,and training of operator candidates. Promotes strong leadership and influences positive employee morale throughout the location. Key Responsibilities:
+ Provides behind-the-wheel instruction according to corporate and client specifications in all aspects of vehicle operation and passenger transportation, including defensive driving, service area familiarization, passenger loading,unloadingand securement.
+ Conducts classroom trainingin accordance withcorporate and location requirements.
+ Ensure all safety manuals, programs, policies, and procedures are current and meet the needs of the location.
+ Document all training activities and ensureaccuratecompletion of all training-related employee records.
+ Establish a relationship with client and corporate personnel toidentifyadditionaltraining needs, resources, and opportunities.
+ Prepares and conducts monthly safety meetings.
+ Maintains an adequate and complete employee filing system andparticipatesin audits and inspections to meet client and corporate expectations.
+ Directs the location of drug & alcohol program to include random drug testing and ensures all files are updated to pass regular audits.
+ Manages the injury prevention program to reduce the number of workplace injuries.
+ Conducts accident investigation using root-cause analysis and assigns employee re-training as required.
+ Responsible formaintaining/posting OSHA log.
+ Conducts road observations to evaluate operator safety, customer service, and systematic knowledge of the service.
+ Provides coaching and re-training asrequiredon Drive Cam.
+ Respond to customer comments related to the service.
+ Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
+ Other duties asrequired.

Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma or GEDrequired
+ Minimum of (3) years' experience in the passenger transportation industry.
+ Experience in location safety management and/or operations management.
+ Providing quality training, including the creation and management of training materials.
+ Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
+ Subject to DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

In this role you will help build a proactive safety (food, plant and employee) culture and an environment where employees, supervision and Greenhouse functional leaders are engaged in working safe. Primary Responsibilities:
Directly responsible for the oversight and maintenance of the SQF Program at the assigned Mastronardi Produce, growing center.
Serves as the designated Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Practitioner and is compliant with relevant FSMA trainings.
Help build a proactive safety (food, plant and employee) culture and an environment where employees, supervision and Greenhouse functional leaders are engaged in working safely.
Perform audits against numerous internal and external standards such as SQF, HACCP, MiOSHA, Health programs while delivering on time arrival of audit reports.
Oversee all customer and regulatory auditors including government, 3rd party, SQF
Prepares, organizes, leads and conducts follow-up for third-party, government, and customer audits
Corrective Action and Preventative Measures - log and track non-compliances and FSS incidences, do investigations, coordinate follow-up and bring outstanding issues to closure.
Work side-by-side with General Manager to assure compliance to HACCP/GMP and food safety requirements are met
Participates and is part of the leadership team at assigned facility
Maintain a focus on the Quality key process indicators (KPI's) and Improvement against defined targets.
Manage the day-to-day operations of all quality functions, safety and health.
Conduct routine inspections of internal Food Safety Program to ensure compliance.
Provides quality input and advice on the creation, implementation and revision of SOP's.
Training and manage Sanitation department staff in all aspects of production and quality control measures and SOP's.
Stays attuned to and prepares adaptation to change in customer, company and regulatory changes
Identifies potential risks before they become a problem, focusing on root cause analysis and preventative actions.
Educate employees in proper safety procedures, safe work practices and
Investigate injuries/illnesses, near-misses to determine root cause of incidences and provide corrective action plan. Manage and track injury and illness data.
Perform process checks throughout the greenhouse including production, packaging, sanitation and warehousing functions of the greenhouse, including pre-operational checks, sanitation verification, label checks and net weight checks.
Maintain thorough training records for Mastronardi and Agency Staff. Conduct routine audits of training records for review by Management.

Assist in the development of new training programs.
Maintain FSS documents, database, records, binders & filing. Ensure an “audit ready” state of compliance at all times.
Education/Background Requirements:
4 years food production experience or at minimum College Degree with 3 years of relative industry experience
HACCP, SQF, Grower Safety Training Certifications required
3 Years' experience of managing a team of 3 or more
Industry knowledge of HACCP, GMP and OSHA, EPA guidelines
Ability to manage multiple production teams under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels inside the business and externally with suppliers, customers and regulatory agencies.
Proven leadership experience in a Team setting
Excellent critical and analytical skills
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

Primary responsibilities:
Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of learning solutions for Safety & Airworthiness leaders, engineers, and specialists within the Safety & Airworthiness University
Create, collaborate, and facilitate organizational learning strategies for the Safety & Airworthiness University across the existing colleges
Collaborate and align with other engineering colleges and universities across the enterprise with specific focus on supporting the Colleges within the Safety and Airworthiness University and CASO organization
Participate in and assist in facilitating University Community of Practice Alliance
Support content curation and development of learning experiences in various formats, including web-based, instructor-led, virtual, video, Degreed pathways, and micro-learning
Foster a culture of learning, implement measure of effectiveness, and support complex learning initiatives and projects
Utilize a range of tools and platforms such as Storyline, Adobe Premier, Getty Images, Microsoft Office, company learning management systems, and Degreed
Collaborate with technical experts to support the development of informative and relevant learning solutions
Assess learning needs and collaborate with stakeholders to address organization-wide training requirements
Ensure learning solutions align with organizational and functional strategy and add value to existing content
Enable agile work environments through team collaboration, sprints, and iterations, focusing on tangible and metrics-driven business and user outcomes
Assist in development of competency and proficiency measures supporting increased proficiency across the organization and function
Ensure alignment between knowledge management, technical development, and skill management efforts

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
Bachelor or higher from an accredited university
Level 3: 6+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Level 4: 10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years of experience working in the field of Learning and Development or Knowledge Management with specific knowledge of Adult Learning Theory
Experience within learning and development and/ or employee development and training
3+ years of experience supporting the development or maintenance of E-Learning
Experience in a role that required excellent communication, project management, presentation, and facilitation skills
Experience with and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
3+ years of experience working within Learning Management System (LMS) and Instructional Design tools in learning environments
Experience in building strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders
2+ years of experience communicating and presenting with the ability to effectively convey complex information to large audiences
Ability to travel up to 20% of work time
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

· Compile reports as requested regarding accident or spill information and frequency
· Update and maintain employee and/or site files
· Aid in distribution of necessary safety related communication or tools
· Make recommendations directly to the Leadership Team to prevent future accidents and near misses.
· Support and implement departmental initiatives, involving daily interaction with CDL and Operations personnel
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
·Safety, Business, Human Resources related degree is a plus
·Familiar with Microsoft Office including MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Excel
·Ability to work Full Time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 6:00 pm
·Excellent communication skills: listening, reading, writing
·Ability to multi-task and exceptional time management skills
·Ability to prioritize according to urgency
·Work independently and as part of team
·Willingness to learn (or obtain the knowledge) of OSHA, DOT and FMCSA regulation
