Daniel Constantine Marino Jr. (born September 15, 1961) is a former American football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 17 seasons with the Miami Dolphins. After a successful college career at Pittsburgh and being named First-team All-American in 1981, Marino was the last quarterback taken in the first round of the quarterback class of 1983. Grant joined thl in 2005 in a Chief Operating Officer role and was appointed to the position of Chief Executive Officer in December 2008. Grant is Chairman of the joint venture businesses Action Manufacturing, Just go Motorhomes and Togo. He is also currently a Member of the Board of the New Zealand industry organisation, TIA (Tourism Industry Aotearoa). Grant’s background includes senior executive roles across the tourism, hospitality, gaming and retail industries, where he held Director and general management roles within the retail sector before moving into tourism. Prior to joining thl, Grant was a General Manager at SKYCITY Auckland. Grant holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Victoria University and has completed executive studies at the Insead Advanced Management Programme in Fontainebleau and Monash University, Melbourne Australia.
