On September 7, 1987, Trinity opened with a total of 41 students in Grades 1 through 3, taught by three full-time teachers.
Trinity Christian School began with just three lower school grades in 1987.
On August 27, 1993, Joliet Christian School opened its doors in the basement of Shorewood Church of God with an enrollment of 57 students.
In August of 1994, JCS expanded with a preschool for 3- and 4-year-olds in two locations, Westview Baptist Church and Judson Memorial Church.
With the continued increase in enrollment came the need for more space, and in 2010, Trinity opened a new middle school wing.
Before the 2017 fall semester ends, Trinity's athletic fields will be transformed into durable turf fields.
By June 2019, Trinity will acquire a 29-acre parcel of land that is situated a mile away from our current campus.
