1965

In 1965, John Sr. purchased a single-axle Ford dump truck for $6000 from the Ford dealer in Maplewood, New Jersey.

1983

In 1983, John Sr. moved with his wife Nancy and son, John Jr., to Freehold, New Jersey, where they bought their first licensed salvage yard.

1985

A & A Truck Parts officially opened it doors in 1985, but its history starts almost 20 years prior, with the story of a young man, a truck, and an idea.

In 1985, they added to their potential with the purchase of a new Mack Roll-off with a couple of containers.

2005

Action Truck Parts has been serving Chicagoland’s truck parts needs since 2005 when they opened their first store in Bolingbrook, which specializes in DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) cleaning as well as stocking new DPF filters for replacement needs.

2013

Since 2013, Action has become known as one of the top truck parts distributors in the country.

2016

In 2016, Action acquired Darryl Dupre Inc., a long-time parts distributor in the Joliet, IL marketplace.

2018
