Tweet/Garot Mechanical history

1955 — Andrew Tweet Jr. joins the family business.

1979 — Tweet/Garot is formed by the merger of Tweet Brothers Plumbing and Heating (est.

1984 — Timothy Howald becomes CEO after the untimely passing of Andrew Tweet, Jr., and oversees all corporate operations along with Mike Sturdivant and Tom Brawner.

1985 — Successful completion of major paper machine rebuild in Peshtigo, WI, begins series of pulp & paper projects in Central Wisconsin.

1994 — Tweet/Garot opens office and fabrication facility in Wisconsin Rapids, WI.

1996 — Expansion of Service Department enhances mechanical service capabilities with the update of technology and addition of more vehicles, equipment, and highly trained technicians.

1997 — Installation of Lambeau Field hydronic heating system under the playing surface to maintain optimum grass growing conditions even during winter.

2008 — Tweet/Garot installs a field heating system at Target Field for the Minnesota Twins.

2011 — Tweet/Garot tops out at 350 employees.

2015 — Tweet/Garot updates its mission and vision statements.

2016 — Employees now total 700+; new training and wellness programs introduced; intern program helps recruit the best and brightest to assure continued state-of-the-art customer service and cutting-edge technology.

2017 — Moved in to a new 60,000-square-foot corporate office building in De Pere, WI.

2018 – Built and opened a new 108,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Wrightstown, WI.
