ULMA Construction company history timeline
1961 Creation of “Talleres ULMA S.C.I.” dedicated to the production of wrapping machines.
In 1963, it was incorporated into the construction sector and introduced the first prefabricated scaffolding.
The process of internationalization began in Portugal (where the first subsidiary was created in 1980), France, Argentina and Chile.
A year later, the ENARA cooperative joined them and they formed the Oñalán Group, renamed the ULMA Group in 1992.
In 2005, the whole of the ULMA Group is incorporated as a division to the Mondragon Corporation (then MCC).
