CURE Auto Insurance is a leading writer of auto insurance in New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania. Due to our continuing growth and success, we are seeking a full-time paralegal to join our new and developing in-house law firm! This position will support a small group of attorneys handling insurance defense cases. The ideal candidate will have experience handling cases involving No Fault/PIP, UM/UIM, & Bodily Injury Suits.
Essential Job Functions
Support 2-4 attorneys with discovery related tasks, medical record collection, medical summaries/chronologies, appeals and trial preparation.
Communicate in writing and verbally with attorneys, witnesses, and clients to schedule or confirm appearances
Review, edit and adjust the litigation calendar and confirm depositions and court appearances
Draft legal documents and pleadings, including deposition notices, subpoenas, authorizations, motions, and certifications
Ability to thrive in a high volume environment managing an electronic-based case load.
Must be organized and have the ability to multitask, while prioritizing work
Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
College Degree (4yr preferred)
Minimum of 1 year working as a Paralegal in Personal Injury, Bodily Injury, or Appellate law, with a strong understanding of legal processes, case management, and supporting attorneys in litigation or appeals.
Specific experience interacting with the Court, drafting pleadings, motions, discovery; coordinating medical exams, scheduling court appearances & discovery, and managing all aspects of the defense of cases from inception through trial.
Paralegal Certification or equivalent education/experience required.
Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Legal/law firm experience preferred with the litigation or insurance defense The candidates must possess excellent organizational, communication, and writing skills, and the ability to multitask.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel and spreadsheet analysis
Physical Actions/Environment: Required job duties consist of prompt and regular attendance, ability to frequently move about the office to coordinate work with others; standing, sitting and typing for extended periods; and lifting and/or carrying up to 5 lbs. Ability to frequently communicate with others in-person, on the phone/virtually, and in writing. Ability to read, understand, process and evaluate large amounts of technical information and make related, informed decisions.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:00pm. We offer a hybrid work schedule: team members work onsite 4 days per week and have the flexibility to work remotely 1 day per week.

Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000 annually based on experience

Join our dynamic insurance defense legal team as a Counsel Support Associate supporting Bodily Injury (BI) matters. In this role, you'll provide essential administrative support to Client Legal Services Attorneys handling BI claims, ensuring the smooth management of legal proceedings. Key Responsibilities
Legal Document Management: Enter and manage pleadings, motions, trial documents, and legal correspondence related to Bodily Injury (BI) cases using the case management system.
Case Lifecycle Coordination: From the time a BI lawsuit is received, support tasks including assigning the case, preparing and sending letters of representation to insurers, filing entries of appearance with the court, tracking financials, answering complaints, sending notices of depositions or hearings, corresponding with opposing counsel, and ensuring proper file closure.
Calendar Management: Track trial, arbitration, and mediation dates for BI matters, ensuring timely follow-ups and accurate notifications.
Client & Court Communication: Maintain communication with clients, courts, claim representatives, and opposing counsel regarding BI cases via phone, email, and written correspondence-strong people skills are a must.
Administrative Support: Perform mail processing, handling, scanning, and filing; manage daily administrative duties both in-office and remotely with a high level of organization and attention to detail, particularly in support of BI casework.
Compliance Monitoring: Ensure data accuracy and compliance using the Team Connect Litigation Management System for BI litigation matters.
Problem Solving: Investigate and resolve administrative challenges while remaining open to feedback and learning opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required.
Legal administrative support experience in a civil law setting is beneficial but not required. Exposure to a legal office environment is helpful. Candidates with transferable skills and a strong interest in legal administrative work-particularly in Bodily Injury litigation-are encouraged to apply.
Exceptionally organized and task oriented.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Comfortable handling sensitive information.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and open to learning new legal systems.

Job Description
This Legal Administrative Assistant provides administrative support for the Client Legal Services Attorneys in an office under limited supervision. The role enters and manages data including pleadings, motions and all trial, arbitration, and mediation letters, as well as calendars, files, and related events in case management systems. This individual is also responsible for confirming related events and activities, closing, maintaining and archiving files, in addition to monitoring and routing internal and external client inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
Provide dedicated legal and administrative support to 2-3 Client Legal Services Attorneys
Open and maintain new lawsuits, ensuring accurate setup and ongoing management within case management systems
Coordinate and manage attorney calendars, including court dates, deadlines, depositions, and hearings
Schedule, prepare, and file depositions with courts and all required parties
Prepare, file, and serve pleadings and legal documents in both paper and electronic formats, including e-filing across multiple jurisdictions
Process and manage high volumes of electronic mail related to pleadings, filings, and court correspondence
Serve as a primary point of contact for courts, plaintiff counsel, IME vendors, and internal stakeholders, maintaining professional and timely communication
