Assistant Director, Cancer Registry and Quality Reporting directs the administrative operations of the UCSF Cancer Registry and Quality Reporting. Oversees contract reporting of cancer cases for Children's Oakland. Leads, organizes and delegates medical registry input and processes to team. Develops and reports quality metrics. Accountable for ensuring all aspects of UCSF Health Cancer Registry compliance with mandatory state reporting requirements. Directs cancer program voluntary compliance with American College of Surgeons, Commission on Cancer standards; leads preparation of statistics for renewal of NCI Comprehensive Cancer Center grant funding.
Leads and directs quality improvement initiatives at UCSF and across the UCSF JMH East Bay Cancer Network. Serves as point of contact for deceasing patients in the electronic medical record for the Cancer Center. Directs and serves as System Owner for multiple servers specific to registry work and ensures compliance with IS-3. Serves on national boards and committees and acts as subject matter expert in the area of cancer registry and population health reporting and databases. Responsible for developing pipeline of qualified registrars to ensure workforce sustainability.

The salary range for this position is $118,300 - $268,900 (Annual Rate).

Bachelor's degree in related/Allied Health area and / or equivalent experience / training
At least 5-7 years' experience managing a cancer registry, staff, and budget of comparable size to UCSF Cancer Registry
Oncology Data Specialist certification required
Academic knowledge and applied background in the clinical specialty and clinical quality measures
Maintenance of 10-15 Continuing Education Units of direct Cancer registry related training per year
Demonstrated ability to apply knowledge of clinical concepts to improve clinical registry data collection and analysis methodologies
Expertise in current industry trends in clinical specialty and serves as an industry thought partner on advancements for the clinical registry
Broad knowledge of department, organization, HR and UC policies and processes. Expert knowledge of relevant clinical registry industry federal, state and local laws and regulations

Department Description
The UCSF cancer registry collects high quality data and reports over 8,300 new cases per year (2024). The California State Department of Health Services has been mandated under state law the gathering of information on the amount and type of cancer occurring throughout the state of California. In accordance with this law, cancer diagnosis and treatment information collected for patients of the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center are kept confidential under California Health and Safety Code Sections 103885 and 100330. Incidence cancer case reports, correction, and follow-up records are transmitted weekly to the Greater Bay Area Cancer Registry. The UCSF Cancer Registry plays an integral part in maintaining the UCSF cancer program accreditation by the American College of Surgeons, Commission on Cancer as a NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center Cancer Program. Accreditation consists of leading and coordinating documentation of voluntary compliance with 36 standards of quality cancer care. Re-accreditation surveys occur every 3 years

+ Support the Assistant Athletics Director, Donor Relations, as needed, with fundraising communications projects, including priority papers, proposals, and gift announcements.
+ Compile and manage data using multiple financial and reporting systems.

+ Work closely with the Data Analyst and the central Donor Relations team to ensure the scholarship reporting timeline remains on schedule.

The Sustainability Accelerator seeks an experienced Assistant Director to lead and oversee the planning of programs and functions at both the Flagship and Accelerator levels. Under the guidance of an Accelerator Managing Director, the candidate will assist Accelerator Flagship-funded project teams in developing their solutions and externalization plans. The Assistant Director will drive the grant and project selection process and contribute to the support services and training offered by the Accelerator. Under the direction of the Accelerator Executive Director, the candidate will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing business processes, knowledge management, and other cross-Flagship-cutting practices across the Accelerator to ensure efficiency, consistency, and alignment, thereby facilitating execution of Accelerator goals.
CORE DUTIES:
* Lead the development and execution of programs or functions that support project teams to develop externalization plans, including business, regulatory, and/or technical derisking.
* Evaluate programs or functions, and procedures across the Accelerator. Identify issues and develop solutions and tools.
* Review and analyze industry, policy, and market trends across Flagship areas to advise and develop recommendations to achieve or modify the goals of the program or function.
* Represent the program or function at the university level and/or to external/internal stakeholders and constituencies.
* Manage and contribute to the development of outreach strategies that may include relationship development, communications and compliance. This may include investors, scaling partners, government and industry experts, and potential team members.
* Assess the support/training needs of project teams and may develop associated training materials and support services.
* May direct and/or supervise staff.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience.

The Executive Education programs team seeks an Associate Director of Programs. As part of the GSB Executive Education team, you'll serve as the face of Executive Education to internal and external audiences in both open enrollment and custom programs. The position will work closely with both faculty and corporate client partners to create and deliver impactful Executive Education programs for senior corporate executives. You'll help drive the growth of open enrollment programs by leveraging market insights, enrollment trends, competitive analysis, and curriculum innovation to attract highly qualified participants and build dynamic, well-balanced cohorts. This role reports to a Director in GSB Executive Education.
This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position where the work can be performed with the expectation of being onsite in a hybrid setting of at least 2 days per week. Full-time onsite will be required to support program operations and work is expected outside of the normal 8 am - 5 pm workday.

* Lead the planning and operations for multiple high-touch on-campus and blended (on-campus/online) open enrollment and custom programs.

As part of the GSB Executive Education team, you'll serve as the face of Executive Education to internal and external audiences in both open enrollment and custom programs. The position will work closely with both faculty and corporate client partners to create and deliver impactful Executive Education programs for senior corporate executives. You'll help drive the growth of open enrollment programs by leveraging market insights, enrollment trends, competitive analysis, and curriculum innovation to attract highly qualified participants and build dynamic, well-balanced cohorts. This role reports to a Director in GSB Executive Education.
This is a full-time (40 hours per week) position where the work can be performed with the expectation of being onsite in a hybrid setting of at least 2 days per week. Full-time onsite will be required to support program operations and work is expected outside of the normal 8 am - 5 pm workday.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Lead the planning and operations for multiple high-touch on-campus and blended (on-campus/online) open enrollment and custom programs.
+ Independently implement, administer, and evaluate day-to-day activities of the program by identifying and executing tasks and objectives, making recommendations that impact policies and programs, and assigning resources to achieve the goals of the program.
+ Support senior Stanford faculty to redesign programs based on corporate client needs, market opportunities, faculty research, and Stanford differentiation.
+ Manage and contribute to the development of outreach strategy that may include participant and custom client relationship development and communications.
+ May develop and/or oversee budgets; manage finances including monitoring, analyzing, forecasting, and reporting.
+ Assess training needs and may develop associated training.
