This position carries out administrative responsibilities appropriate to client care and functioning as a team member.
This position has additional focus on supporting and providing services to couples and families, including parenting. This role helps organize FSAP's resources and presence in supporting relationships and families, and will have public speaking opportunities in the form of psychoeducational workshops, support groups, and other creative avenues.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
Direct Services
* Provide individual, couple, and family counseling to staff and faculty. Services are primarily offered within a brief therapy framework.
* Provide crisis intervention, including suicide assessment and working with campus Threat Assessment Team, as needed.
* Offer psychoeducational workshops, presentations, or supportive groups, including ideas such as healthy communication skills, parenting, and caregiving for elders.
Indirect Services
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation via the electronic health record system.
* Participate in weekly staff meetings and case consultation with other members of the FSAP team.
* Provide leadership in helping develop FSAP's presence and knowledgebase supporting healthy couples and families for employees, aligned with campus wide efforts to amplify CU Boulder as an employer of choice.
* Record client interventions and statistics by completing case notes, intake documents, and other documentation in a timely manner.

Job Summary:
The Department of Psychiatry has an opening for a full-time Integrated Behavioral Health Clinician position.
This position includes direct clinical care, teaching, supervision, and program development duties, with a focus on providing integrated behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and their families who are seen in academic medical center primary care settings. This is a faculty position with rank commensurate with the applicant's experience. Integrated services within, but not limited to Special Care Clinic, Pediatric Primary Care and other pediatric subspecialty clinics.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide integrated behavioral health services in a large residency training clinic
Provide integrated behavioral health services in a primary care clinic for children with medical complexity
Deliver individual, family, and group-based services including early childhood and prevention/health promotion interventions
Consult with pediatric primary care teams around addressing behavioral health and environmental factors that impact child well-being, and collaborate closely with resource partners including social work, family navigators, and community health liaisons to deliver comprehensive, team-based care
Use evidence-based assessment and treatment approaches for children and adolescents presenting with a wide range of behavioral, developmental, and mental health concerns
Supervise trainees, other mental health providers, and pediatric health professionals

Synergy, the adolescent component of Addiction Research and Treatment Services, University of Colorado School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry, seeks to fill an Adolescent Behavioral Health Therapist position in a community-based substance use treatment program. The therapist will be delivering an evidenced-based family therapy model called MST. Multisystemic Therapy (MST) is an evidenced-based model with the largest body of evidence of successful interventions for high-risk youth and has been recognized as a highly effective treatment by NIDA (National Institute on Drug Abuse) and NIH (National Institute of Health). The model is present focused/action-oriented and focuses on strength-based, preventive strategies within the youth's natural ecology targeting family, peers, school, and neighborhood support systems. The therapist will receive comprehensive training in the MST model. The MST therapist will implement this community-based treatment by providing Multisystemic therapy (MST) to families of adolescent substance users with a goal to retain youth in their homes and avoid out of home placement and involvement in the criminal justice system. The MST therapist will utilize the MST principals to develop interventions with the input and support of their supervisor and MST consultant. The implementation of this clinical model requires adherence and fidelity to the MST model, which the supervisor and MST consultant help guide. The MST therapist works independently but always has the support of their supervisor and has flexibility with their schedule as they schedule their own appointments based on the family's availability. The therapist is very well supported through weekly group supervision and consultation, in addition to individual supervision occurring weekly to every two weeks.
- This position works in the community/field the majority of the time as well as some remote work from home and time in the office. The office is located at Fort Logan (3680 West Princeton Circle, Denver, CO 80236).

The Clinical Social Worker will be faculty of the Department of Psychiatry, integrated within the Department of Neurology, Functional Neurological Disorders (FND) Program. The FND Program is an outpatient, multidisciplinary treatment program comprised of neurologists, psychiatrists, social workers, nurses, case managers, allied health professionals and administrative staff. The FND Program boasts local, national, and international recognition for their highly collaborative, innovative care model to support individuals with FND. Key Responsibilities:
Patient care and coordination: The primary role of the Clinical Social Worker is to perform direct patient/client care both virtually and in-person including behavioral health assessments, follow-up appointments, group therapy, multi-family group therapy, coordination with relevant outside care providers and other local resources as needed, charting, billing and development of treatment plans in addition to provision of services. This includes determination of appropriate therapeutic treatment options within and outside the FND Program.
Budget/Resource Management: Informs FND Program Director and Business Manager of behavioral health service line budgetary and resource needs.
Community Engagement/Education: Collaborates with FND Program faculty and staff to support or conduct local and national educational engagement activities and initiatives. This includes but is not limited to, community educational webinars, development of educational materials, etc.
Quality and Process Improvement: Informs and participates in quality and process improvement initiatives at the direction of the FND Program Director in collaboration with the Clinical Director of Behavioral Health Services.
Compliance and Reporting: Maintain compliance with Department of Psychiatry, Department of Neurology, University, state, and federal regulation regarding psychiatric and behavioral health services. Responsible for reporting clinical staff concerns to Director and work collaboratively to resolve issues.
Behavioral Health Trainee Programming\: Participates in behavioral health trainee programming which includes but is not limited to, supervision of clinical learners with relevant licensure (i.e., LCSW, MSW), note review and sign off, assists FND Program faculty and staff with growing educational programming to meet academic mission. This may include trainee evaluation, field liaison meetings and classroom teaching (didactics) as needed. Collaborates with FND Program Director, Business Manager. Clinical Director of Behavioral Health Services, and other relevant team members on the development, maintenance, and monitoring of clinical behavioral health trainee programming. Responsible for ensuring trainees under their supervision are exhibiting high quality, safe and professional practices. Job Summary:
The Associate Mental Health In-Chief (AMHIC) at the Children's Hospital Colorado (CHCO) serves as the key physician leader for the clinical operations and medical care delivery for pediatric mental health across the CHCO system. The AMHIC is a critical physician leader for ensuring coordinated care and outstanding experience for patients, families, and referring providers. The AMHIC is accountable for operationalizing and integrating strategic & operating plan initiatives, as well as scaling the structure, infrastructure and supporting systems designed to enhance the institution's clinical and operational effectiveness. The position reports directly to the CHCO Mental Health In-Chief (MIC) with matrixed reporting to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO). This position will be a 1.0 FTE with 0.4 FTE for general clinical Psychiatry duties and 0.6 buyout for leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Works closely with CHCO/CU Medicine/ University of Colorado School of Medicine (CUSOM) system leadership to facilitate top performance of the medical staff, high quality evidence-based practices, and optimal outcomes.
Leads the development of the CHCO pediatric mental health leadership and committee structure required to optimize care delivery, provider involvement, and accountability for operational and quality initiatives.
Incorporates analytic tools and informatics solutions to drive for value and efficiency in operational decisions.
Prioritizes patient safety in all aspects of CHCO operations.
Works collaboratively with CHCO nursing and other key clinical and operational leadership, develops interdisciplinary strategies and actions plans to ensure integrated and coordinated care throughout CHCO, and facilitates communication and understanding to assure the provision of high quality care to patients and families.
Maintains effective working relationships with peers across the organization. Serves as a physician champion of enterprise-wide culture, influencing culture change to support operational objectives.
Serves as an ambassador of CHCO mission and values.
Facilitates sound communication practices to keep medical staff informed of changes that impact their work.
Supports and mentors section heads, medical and clinical directors in all aspects of their leadership.
Aids medical and clinical directors in identification of opportunities for improvement and helps prioritize and plan improvement strategies at both local clinical unit levels and system-wide.
Makes decisions that demonstrate sound stewardship of financial resources.

This is an open rank position and could be categorized as Associate Professor or Professor based on experience and qualifications as indicated below:
Associate Professor:
4-7 years of relevant clinical experience at rank or equivalent experience.
Minimum degree qualifications\: M.D. or D.O.
At the time of hire, applicants must have a License or be eligible for licensure within the state of Colorado.
Professor:
7+ years of relevant clinical experience at rank or equivalent experience.
Minimum degree qualifications\: M.D. or D.O.
At the time of hire, applicants must have a License or be eligible for licensure within the state of Colorado.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven clinical and administrative experience in the development and leadership of mental health programs
Accomplished academic record
Strong commitment and demonstrated excellence to educational/training programs
Experience working in an academic medical center
Preference will be given to those who are eager to engage in all aspects of the academic mission (clinical, teaching, scholarship, and service)
Five years of relevant clinical practice experience across the continuum of pediatric mental healthcare.
Substantive experience in an academic teaching environment is preferred.
Proven success in medical staff leadership and organizational activities.
Relevant management experience within a matrixed health care delivery system.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrate strong team leadership, program visioning and implementation, and academic experience.
Able to nurture strong interdisciplinary collaborations among faculty with diverse programmatic interests, and across campus and community partners.
Able to recruit and develop talent to build specialized areas of expertise, including research, quality, education, clinical and/or policy/advocacy work.
Strong interpersonal communication, emotional intelligence, and management skills.
Ability to balance the priorities of the Service Line with those of the Department, Hospital, and other partners to ensure the overall goals of all entities are achieved.

Associate Professor: $255,000 to $278,000
Professor: $300,000 to $315,000
