As a Research Farm ProjectCoordinator, you will:

* Collect weather data daily and report information to the National Weather Bureau.
* Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of farm equipment and building facilities.

Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in agriculture production, agronomy, or related field; plus three (3) years of experience in agricultural production, agronomy, or related work. Additional years of completed relevant education may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.
* Knowledge of agricultural practices to enable best farming outcomes.
* Knowledge of soil sampling to determine application rates for fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides.

Under the general direction and supervision of the Apprenticeship Director, the Apprenticeship Coordinator will be a point of contact for employers, mentors, and apprentices participating in SCC's Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP). The Apprenticeship Coordinator will assist with recruitment, training, support, and data tracking for business partners and apprentices and will provide education on the registered apprenticeship model to faculty, staff, employers, and communities.
The Apprenticeship Coordinator will primarily focus on recruiting, enrolling, and monitoring apprentices and apprentice applicants throughout SCC's 15-county service area as needed. This is a full-time temporary, grant-funded position with an expected end date of December 2027, but may be ended at any time or extended depending on the continued availability of grant funding.
Essential Functions
Education/Promotional Outreach
* Connect with community-based organizations, workforce development boards, industry groups, high schools, SCC faculty and staff, and labor organizations to promote the awareness and expansion of RAP opportunities.
* Assist with planning and execution of presentations and awareness activities such as events for National Apprenticeship Week/Month.
* Engage with high schools to identify new traditional and non-traditional students.

* Connect apprentices with essential resources, including financial aid, childcare, transportation, tutoring, and housing, to support their success. Conduct check-ins as needed, and at a minimum, on a quarterly basis, to evaluate progress, address challenges, and offer guidance.

Expand Outreach to Enhance Workforce Development Opportunities

SCC BEN Dollars - Eligible Employees: Full-time status. Regular employees with an FTE of 0.75 or greater will be eligible for SCC Ben Dollars. OVERALL JOB DESCRIPTION:
The ISS coordinator will be the primary monitor of the school's in-school suspension room. This individual will work with students to support their academic needs during the time that they are in the in-school suspension room. The Coordinator will work in close partnership with the building administration to develop an organizational process for managing the placement of students, communicating with teachers, and coordinating work completion. In the event that there are no students assigned to the ISS room, the coordinator will complete other general safety and supervision tasks as directed by the building administration. This may include tasks such as: Monitoring other student work completion, supervising the hallways and lunchroom, filling in for classroom para support as needed, delivering passes and calling students to the office, monitoring door locks, and supervising the general building and grounds to check for safety issues.

* Ability to analyze and determine academic and behavior needs for students based upon grades in classes and work completion.

The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP) is seeking an Awards Coordinator to join our team at one of three levels, depending on qualifications and experience The Awards Coordinator negotiates, reviews and processes awards, nondisclosure agreements, and material transfer agreements involving UNL faculty for completeness. Missing information will be obtained in a timely manner and coordinated with both Pre- and Post-award functions. Updates NuRamp and other databases to reflect the award information and department entered information will be validated.
The Awards Coordinator II and III also provides oversight and training for department-level professional and support staff assigned to project activities.
In addition, the Awards Coordinator III provides oversight, training, and/or mentoring for other OSP staff.

The Office of Sponsored Programs supports the University of Nebraska-Lincoln community in obtaining and managing external funding to support research, creative, and scholarly activities. We provide pre-award and post-award services throughout the award life cycle. The Director of Sponsored Programs serves as the institutional official responsible for submitting, negotiating and accepting awards on behalf of the Board of Regents.
The Award Acceptance & Contract Negotiation Team is focused on ensuring the university's success in managing grants and awards effectively. Tasked with reviewing the terms and conditions of every award received, this team plays a crucial role in safeguarding the university's interests while maximizing the goals of each researcher.
