The Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences Department is seeking a Psychiatric Therapist who will provide assessment, evaluation, and treatment of HIV/AIDS infected individuals at the Bartlett Specialty Practice at Johns Hopkins Hospital and at clinics in surrounding counties. Assist in providing and/or coordinating the clinical activities of patients seen in the HIV Outpatient Psychiatry Clinic and be responsible for administrative tasks associated with Ryan White grant funding, as well as running the clinic. Specific Duties & Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive psychological assessment, evaluation, and treatment of HIV/AIDS infected individuals at the Bartlett Specialty Practice and at clinics in surrounding counties. Assist in providing and/or coordinating the clinical activities of patients seen in the HIV Outpatient Psychiatry Clinic and be responsible for administrative tasks associated with Ryan White grant funding, as well as running the clinic. The job of Occupational Therapist was established for the purpose/s of assessing students' functional physical development level; planning and implementing appropriate treatment to meet individual student objectives; identifying architectural barriers; providing recommendations for accessibility, program development and providing direction to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants. Job DescriptionSalary: The ideal candidate loves orthopedics, sports, fast paced clinic, hard working co-workers and a close working relationship with referring physicians. And interest in Hand Therapy is a plus. This is a small but vibrant community with quick access to hunting and fishing. The case load is primarily orthopedic/sports, outdoor sports and work related injuries, joint replacement rehab and spine care. There is an opportunity to prepare to be a CHT (certified hand therapist) if interested. This is a great opportunity to work as a respected member of the local medical community. Eligibility for licensure in the State of Alabama is required. Compensation is consistent with experience.
