Our team of specially trained pharmacists and technicians work closely with doctors and nurses to ensure our patients receive the best medication therapy for their condition. PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES * Oversee the daily activities of the clinical pharmacists and provide direct supervision of assigned staff. * Develop and maintain practice standards for inpatient and ambulatory clinical pharmacist services. * Assist in planning, developing, organizing and evaluating pharmacy services. * Develop and maintain indices of clinical competence for clinical pharmacists. * Coordinate the Pharmacy input in care pathways and treatment protocols. * Develop and maintain practice standards for inpatient and ambulatory clinical pharmacist services. * Conduct and assist in the recruitment of clinical pharmacists and pharmacy staff as applicable to the clinical programs. * Coordinate pharmacist involvement in drug cost savings and quality improvement initiatives. REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS * Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD). * Eligible for licensure as a Pharmacist in the State of Washington. * ASHP-accredited Residency preferred. * Three to five years of experience as a clinical pharmacist preferred. * Demonstrated leadership abilities.
