Growing up, Matt’s family moved around quite a bit due to career changes and promotions, though he considers his strongest ties to be with the Mid West and New York. Matt's work ethic and discipline were learned in part from his years of being a United States Army's elite 2nd Ranger Battalion, where he was awarded the Ranger Tab, Airborne Wings and the Army Commendation Medal amongst others. His vast understanding of the freight industry, and savvy computer, technical, and networking skills have proven to be a big asset for the business.
