Job Type: Seasonal Pay Rate: $15.50/hr.
This is a seasonal position at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, in San Antonio, TX. Responsibilities:
The Dispatch Center Operators are responsible for a variety of tasks including dispatching emergency and non-emergency calls, logging downtime and department activity, computing park attendance information, answering park phone lines, issuing keys, radios, and badges, as well as other duties. The Operator must be able to answer multiple phone lines and monitor and dispatch information on all park radio channels.
HOW YOU WILL DO IT

Maintaining a professional environment by enforcing strict radio policies.
Logging ride downtime and security activity into appropriate databases.

Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be high school graduate or possess GED
Must possess a valid driver license
Must have a valid Texas Level 2 Security License
Previous security related experience preferred

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Uses multiple communications systems to coordinate emergency calls and relay information and assistance requests involving law enforcement, fire, emergency service agencies and other Departments. Conducts immediate public safety threat analysis and coordinate with law enforcement and other Enterprise Departments. Broadcast all immediate public safety emergencies and Be On the Lookout (BOLO) information across all radio channels and enter data into the Computer Aided Dispatch Software (CAD) system.
2. Receives, screens, enters, dispatches, and monitors high volume of emergency and non-emergency calls for service through the computer-aided dispatching system for the enterprise; Tribal community; other law enforcement, fire, and emergency services agencies. Tracks availability status of all Public Safety units: maintains regular contact with all units on emergency and non-emergency assignment, maintains and tracks current location of Public Safety units, accurately maintain, and update daily computerized log of all Enterprise field/ facility/units/officers dispatched.
3. Monitors emergency alarm systems, analyzes recorded and live surveillance video of non-gaming activities to detect any suspicious activity which may pose a risk to employees, vendors, guests, Tribal Community or Casino/Resort/Offsite operations. Accurately reads, interprets, inputs and relays information obtained from the Tribal Community, employees, customers, and other law enforcement/public safety personnel into the CAD Software. Makes appropriate risk and safety notifications across the enterprise.
4. Determines the number of public safety units, and which units, to dispatch by considering such factors as time of day, description, and location of calls, units available and probable degree of hazard to Tribe, Public and the responding units. Performs camera checks and inputs Surveillance Technical Work Orders or Malfunction Forms and reports any other problems pertaining to surveillance equipment.
5. Provides support to the Tribal Community through different services to ensure safety; to include Tribal Elder checks during power outage to screen for possible medical or other emergency assistance. Handles Tribal community dispatch services of animal control, environmental factors, and beekeepers.
6. Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
EDUCATIONAL, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or GED is required.
Associate in criminal justice related field is preferred.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in high volume customer service environment; including dealing with the public in stressful situations is required.
Must be 21 years of age.
Prior Law enforcement or Fire Emergency Dispatch experience is strongly preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSA)

JOB SUMMARY: The role of the Dispatcher is to support the Triage Program Manager in managing the influx of calls from Law Enforcement, Fire Department, and the public. The City of West Hollywood has established a 24/7/365 mobile support service, “West Hollywood Care Team” (Care Team) designed to rapidly respond to community members experiencing a behavioral health crisis and other unmet social service needs, within West Hollywood city limits. The Care Team will begin receiving calls for support from private residences, schools, workplaces, or any other community-based locations. The community members served may include residents, both housed and unhoused, students, members of the local workforce and visitors.
The City of West Hollywood designed the Care Team to integrate with the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health (LACDMH) network of Field Intervention Teams (FIT), which is the County's behavioral health crisis responder system served by Mobile Crisis Outreach Teams (MCOT) and Psychiatric Mobile Response Teams (PMRT).

Utilizing transportation software and scheduling for optimization and ongoing improvement for routing.
Collaborates with community impact team, agency partners and operations team when directing drivers throughout the delivery process.
Collaborates with inventory control, volunteer engagement, Project Preserve and others to facilitate effective and efficient inventory transfers and shuttles between food bank sites.
Ensures adherence to and execution of established food bank safety policies and procedures, OSHA, Fleet Safety DOT Program, ensuring the number one priority is safety when operating any equipment at SHFB.
Establishes and executes independently incident management process as required by transportation group (i.e. intendent reporting, towing, HAZMAT response, etc.).
Conducts ride-a-longs with all drivers, coaching on efficiencies and safety compliance. Collaborates with Director of Transportation on findings.
Collaborates with the Fleet Maintenance Coordinator and Transportation Specialist to achieve DOT maintenance and document compliance on all equipment at SHFB.
Partners with transportation specialist and others within the organization to effectively gather and report transportation related performance and cost data
Manages departmental KPIs to ensure on-time delivery and performance goals are met.
Communicates insights and opportunities to Director of Transportation.
Partners with Fleet Maintenance Coordinator and strategic maintenance suppliers on Second Harvest's commercial equipment and passengers' vehicles.
May be asked to shuttle equipment to vendor or driver if applicable.
Trains drivers to ensure food safety compliance.

Under the direction of the Manager, Dispatch Shift, the Public Safety Dispatcher is responsible for performing their duties and responsibilities in accordance with all established laws and regulations to include the San Manuel Department of Public (DPS) Safety Policies and Procedures. These duties include operating all radio-telephone transmitting and receiving equipment along with the computer-aided dispatch system; All information must be recorded in a timely, accurate manner, recording all pertinent information for emergency and non-emergency request for service from the Tribal Community, Resort, Casino, Offsite properties; as well as law enforcement agencies, fire, medical or other emergency services. This position uses multiple communications systems to coordinate emergency calls; relay information and assistance; directly coordinates requests involving law enforcement agencies and other emergency response personnel, provides notifications in accordance with predetermined plans across all Departments.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Uses multiple communications systems to coordinate emergency calls and relay information and assistance requests involving law enforcement, fire, emergency service agencies and other Departments. Conducts immediate public safety threat analysis and coordinate with law enforcement and other Enterprise Departments. Broadcast all immediate public safety emergencies and Be On the Lookout (BOLO) information across all radio channels and enter data into the Computer Aided Dispatch Software (CAD) system.
2. Receives, screens, enters, dispatches, and monitors high volume of emergency and non-emergency calls for service through the computer-aided dispatching system for the enterprise; Tribal community; other law enforcement, fire, and emergency services agencies. Tracks availability status of all Public Safety units: maintains regular contact with all units on emergency and non-emergency assignment, maintains and tracks current location of Public Safety units, accurately maintain, and update daily computerized log of all Enterprise field/ facility/units/officers dispatched.
3. Monitors emergency alarm systems, analyzes recorded and live surveillance video of non-gaming activities to detect any suspicious activity which may pose a risk to employees, vendors, guests, Tribal Community or Casino/Resort/Offsite operations. Accurately reads, interprets, inputs and relays information obtained from the Tribal Community, employees, customers, and other law enforcement/public safety personnel into the CAD Software. Makes appropriate risk and safety notifications across the enterprise.
4. Determines the number of public safety units, and which units, to dispatch by considering such factors as time of day, description, and location of calls, units available and probable degree of hazard to Tribe, Public and the responding units. Performs camera checks and inputs Surveillance Technical Work Orders or Malfunction Forms and reports any other problems pertaining to surveillance equipment.
5. Provides support to the Tribal Community through different services to ensure safety; to include Tribal Elder checks during power outage to screen for possible medical or other emergency assistance. Handles Tribal community dispatch services of animal control, environmental factors, and beekeepers.
6. Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.
EDUCATIONAL, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
* High School Diploma or GED is required.
* Associate in criminal justice related field is preferred.
* Minimum of three (3) years of experience in high volume customer service environment; including dealing with the public in stressful situations is required.
* Must be 21 years of age.
* Prior Law enforcement or Fire Emergency Dispatch experience is strongly preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSA)

JOB SUMMARY:
Coordinates all limousine reservations, errands associated with limousine runs, shuttle moves and dispatches for the Transportation department. The dispatcher will be an individual who requires little supervision and acts as a primary support to the Transportation Supervisor
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:
* Maintain accurate records of all transportation activities in the department.
* Communicate through two-way radio or cellular telephone with limousine and shuttle drivers to ensure constant status and location.
* Communicate through a multi-line phone system with other departments and properties to assist both drivers and guests.
* Use computer programs to track airline flights, review limousine reservations, find addresses and map driving routes.
* Build and maintain the daily limo board.
* Order extra limousines from outside companies for special events and areas outside average driving distances when needed.
* Control driver overtime and outsourcing to a minimum.
* Train newly hired dispatchers on working with radios, all computer programs including Harrah's programs such as CMS, LMS, and answering multi-line phone system and dispatching.
* Prioritize guest reservations / dispatches.
* Coordinate guest limousine reservation requests with casino hosts and VIP personnel.
* Troubleshoot complex problems and resolve any issues in a timely manner.
* Answer incoming calls and assist when necessary or direct calls to appropriate areas.
* Inspect the limo fleet on a daily basis, maintaining vehicle inspection reports.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
* College Degree or equivalent work experience preferred with 2 years of demonstrated excellent guest service experience.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Ability to multi-task is necessary.
* Must be able to obtain a gaming license
* Working knowledge of basic computer skills and programs including Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet required.
* Knowledge and use of two-radio, multi-line phone, and cell phone required.
* Must be able to communicate effectively in English, in both written and oral forms.
* Must have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
* Must have an even tempered demeanor.
* Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance, adhering to Harrah's standards.
* Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
* Able to work in a fast-paced stressful environment while troubleshooting complex problems.
* Must have the ability to effectively manage time and perform multiple tasks simultaneously
* Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business

PHYSICAL, MENTAL and ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

* Must be able to maneuver throughout all areas of the property including stairs and escalators.
* Must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, and kneel.
Positions that have contact with the public require the ability to work in a noisy environment, and may be exposed to guests who use tobacco products. Also, non-public contact positions may be required to enter public areas from time to time, in connection with their duties, and may be subject to the same environment.
