1961: Valley Crest Tree Co. is opened on three acres of land.
In 1964, Valley Crest Landscape opened an office in Santa Ana to handle the company's business in Orange County.
By 1965 Valley Crest had established branch operations throughout the United States.
In 1966 it moved into the northern California market and began work on a multimillion-dollar landscape project, Rossmoor Leisure World, one of the largest retirement communities in the United States.

United States Lawns (www .uslawns.com) was founded in Orlando, Florida, in 1986, as a landscape maintenance franchise company.
Russikoff joined the company in 1987, working on large tree excavation projects.
1990 Environmental Golf is formed.
1996 United States Lawns is acquired.
The final course, The Links at RiverLakes Ranch, opened Labor Day weekend in 1999.
As of 1999 there were 46 United States Lawns franchises and company stores operating in 15 states.
1999: Company celebrates its 50th anniversary.
Susan Berman, a crime writer and self-described ‘Mafia princess,’ was shot to death inside her home in 2000.
In 2000, Environmental Industries strengthened its presence on the East Coast with the purchase of Oakton, Virginia-based STM Landscape Services, a $12 million-in-sales contractor.
The acquisition, completed in 2001, gave Environmental Industries landscape construction operations in Texas, Massachusetts, Illinois, Minnesota, Virginia, and Maryland, increasing its payroll to more than 7,000 employees and lifting annual revenues to nearly $600 million.
2002 ValleyCrest Companies becomes the new name of Environmental Industries Inc.
In 2004, the company acquired Omni Landscape Group and organized its assets within the ValleyCrest Landscape Maintenance business unit.
2006 The company strengthens its design capabilities with the acquisition of HRP LanDesign and Site Works.
