Position summary:
The Technical Lead will work collaboratively with clients in the food, land and agriculture (FLAG) sector to identify decarbonization opportunities, ensure adherence to GHG calculation methodologies and relevant standards, and provide technical advisory to clients on a broad range of GHG mitigation and agricultural topics. The individual in this role will closely track the status and direction of key standards like the GHG Protocol and SBTi Corporate Net Zero Standard to support Winrock's engagement with these standards and to advise clients. You will work with some of the most influential private sector, philanthropic and governmental actors in the world. Past and current Winrock clients include Nestle, McCormick, and the Kinetic Coalition.
Specifically, Winrock is seeking a detail-oriented, inquisitive, dynamic, technical expert with deep knowledge of climate mitigation strategies in the agricultural sector. This expert must also have deep technical knowledge of climate standards such as the GHG Protocol Corporate Suite of Standards and SBTi. Knowledge of commodity-specific guidance and best practice guidance in agricultural value chains, such as those authored by the Value Change Initiative, is a plus.
Demonstrated experience in client relations is important. The ability to communicate the intricacies of climate mitigation and steps to alignment with sustainability standards related to agriculture to clients and other audiences who are not experts is important for this position.
In some instances, the Technical Lead may manage two or more junior staff on projects, so demonstrated people management experience will be weighted as moderately important.
Position role:

Develop and implement statistically sound approaches to project design and data analysis for carbon projects, including use of field data, new statistical tools, and models. Develop project work plans, budgets and reports, including tracking and monitoring programs as assigned to ensure they are fulfilling deliverable and performance requirements at a high quality, on time, and on budget.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's degree in agriculture or environment-related field required. Master's degree in climate change, food and environment, or a related discipline is preferred.
Experience:

The work:
+ Works in a highly client-facing role to lead the end-to-end delivery lifecycle of complex, global and large-scale Service solutions crossing customer channels and service center Backoffice service solutions.
+ Develops strong working relationships with the senior management team and identifies follow-on project opportunities
+ Plans and estimates delivery work with an Agile approach, focusing on project milestones, resource planning (both on-shore and off-shore), scope, budget, risk identification and mitigation planning

Basic Qualifications:
+ Minimum 7+ years of experience leading the successful delivery of FieldService platform architecture and delivery projects

Position Summary
We are seeking a Crane ServiceTechnician - Level 3 to join our team. This advanced-level position is ideal for experienced technicians with strong mechanical and electrical skills. You will be responsible for performing complex inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and installations on overhead cranes and hoists, including systems with advanced auxiliary components.
Key Responsibilities
Perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on overhead cranes and hoists per OEM manuals and OSHA standards.
Work on 3-motion cranes with auxiliaries such as roto hooks, exotic brakes, encoder closed loop systems, and all brake types.
Demonstrate advanced understanding of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
Assist in estimating projects including scope, labor, and parts requirements.
Diagnose and repair uncommon brake systems including Whiting SESA and Magnetek thruster brakes.
Explain AC control circuit principles including Ohm's Law and voltage drop.
Troubleshoot and repair contactor motor control systems.
Rig up and install new equipment including cranes and hoists.
Communicate repair plans, troubleshooting processes, and required parts to customers.
Properly diagnose mechanical components such as wheels, bearings, and reducers.
Understand and support basic operation of vacuum lifters, magnets, and load rotators.
Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Mentor junior technicians and support team development.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications preferred.
Minimum 4 years of experience in crane service or industrial maintenance.
Advanced mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
