RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain and execute the Radiation Oncology Quality Assurance (QA) and Safety Program, including policies, procedures, and staff support.
• Implement, manage, and maintain all medical physics QA equipment, ensuring preventive maintenance and routine calibrations (e.g., patient diodes, daily therapist QA).
• Coordinate with alternate physicists to ensure full clinic coverage; manage vacation/illness schedules and provide emergency consultation as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations and accreditation standards related to medical physics.
• Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists, Dosimetrists, and Therapists to ensure safe and effective patient treatments, including initial physics consultations, plan reviews, and specialized dose measurements.
• Administer, maintain, and oversee all physics-related software systems, including treatment planning, monitor unit calculation, and QA software; manage updates and upgrades.
• Perform daily, monthly, and annual QA testing on linear accelerators, CT simulators, and treatment planning systems per regulatory requirements; serve as the primary contact for equipment issues or downtime.
• Oversee dosimetry operations, including plan reviews and quality assurance for each patient, with a focus on IMRT and advanced planning; participate in weekly chart rounds.
• Perform dosimetry functions in the absence of the dosimetrist to ensure continuity of care.
• Be present for all HyperArc, SBRT, SRS, SRT, and other high-dose treatments as determined by the radiation oncologist.
• Commission and maintain HyperArc and stereotactic systems in the treatment planning system; manage related QA equipment and act as the radiation safety liaison during regulatory inspections.
• Conduct weekly patient chart reviews and maintain accurate documentation of patient consults, QA activities, and treatment records.
• Manage physics testing, credentialing, and RTOG protocol participation, lead planning and implementation for new treatment modalities, accreditations, or certifications.

• Responsible for oversight of dosimetrist to include plan reviews for each patient. Assist dosimetrist in planning as necessary and is responsible for quality assurance of each patient plan including special quality assurance for IMRT planning. Participate in weekly chart round reviews.
• Perform dosimetry functions in the absence of dosimetrist.
• Present at machine for all HyperArc/SBRT/SRS/SRT, high dose treatments and any other treatments as determined by the radiation oncologists.
• Responsible for commissioning and maintaining of HyperArc & stereotactic machine model in treatment planning system. Responsible for maintenance and utilization of stereotactic & HyperArc ancillary quality assurance equipment. Serve as point of contact for radiation safety from regulatory body surveys.
• Perform weekly patient chart reviews and responsible for maintenance of all records pertaining to patient consults and quality assurance as needed.
• Responsible for all physics test credentialing, planning, and oversight of RTOG protocol participation. Initiate, implement, perform procedures for additional treatment types, accreditations or certifications.

Performs ongoing assessment, intakes, evaluations, triage, teaching, inductions, stabilizations, and monitoring of patients in MAT treatment program.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
In collaboration with the Behavioral Health Clinician (BHC), performs initial assessment and intake obtaining social, medical, mental health, substance abuse and medication history.
Collaborates, communicates, and meets with MAT treatment team as needed and required.
Assess patients by discussing their mental health issues and/or addictions to draw up the best possible ways to care for them.
Build a robust and excellent relationship with patients and their families by building trust and monitoring patients' progress with their families.
Ensure the coordination of all related mental health services by conducting risk assessment on patients.
Provide education and assessment to patients looking to access MAT treatment programs.
Assess and monitor patients in the induction, stabilization, and maintenance phases of treatment.
Provide ongoing management, education, and support of patients in all phases of treatment including nursing visits scheduled and random, urine toxicology screens, routine labs and as needed, medication teaching, monitoring, pill counts, and medication refills.
Exhibits non-judgmental, empathetic, and supportive approach when communicating with patients/families and staff.
Follow State and Federal guidelines in providing care to opioid dependent patients in collaboration with licensed, prescribing physicians and pharmacy.
Provide treatment to patients to ensure medications are correctly administrated or recommend patients to psychiatrists and psychologists for further examination.
Assist patients to overcome their addictions and mental health problems and to cope or manage their emotions effectively.
Provide education regarding addictions and mental illness, physical health concerns, chronic disease management, wellness, relapse prevention and medications to patients, families, care givers and team members.
Complete appropriate documentation with record keeping.
Assisting in the ongoing primary care of patients referred to the opioid treatment program.
Consistently use clear, concise, and effective written and oral communication; and comply with departmental policies when sharing/documenting relevant patient care data.
Works with the pharmacies and the MAT team in obtaining prescriptions, refills, prior authorizations as needed.
Document all calls/visits; maintain accurate notes on telephone message and attach to progress note in patient's chart and in a patient's medical record section must be complete and easily understood by anyone who may need to access the record.
In case of patient referral to the Emergency Department or another facility, coordinate care with appropriate staff at the other facility (Mental Health Center, Emergency Department, other Community-Based Substance Abuse and Mental Health Treatment facilities etc.).
Promote Assist with non-scheduled nursing needs during/throughout the shift. These requests vary from assistance with walk-ins, triage, stabilizing an acutely ill patient until the ambulance arrives, or other stabilizing interventions.
Actively participate in policy/protocol development for the program.
Attend annual mandatory in-services as designated by CARF, OHIOMHAS, i.e. CPR/First Aid, De-escalation, and trainings.
Participate in staff meetings, committees, attend professional development conferences, trainings, webinars/seminars as needed to as enhance your knowledge, broaden your horizon and obtain continued education.
Performs other duties as assigned to promote the overall mission and vision of CND.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Education: Education/Training: Bachelor's degree preferred, RN with 3-7 years' experience. Current Ohio RN license. Experience in substance abuse field with community health experience preferred. Minimum Qualifications:
1. Formal Education Required:
a. Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN)
* Applicants with an Associate's degree will be considered but are required to obtain BSN within three (3) years of employment
b. Graduate of a program of professional nursing that is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN)

d. Obtain SANE training with in the first 6 months of hire and work on required hours to sit for SANE-A certification examination.

Ministry Partnership Development

Raise 100% of the financial budget as assigned by your supervisor.
Communicate regularly with your ministry partners, nurturing the relationship through visits, phone calls, emails, and regular prayer letters.
Develop on-going, long-lasting partnership with alumni and volunteers.

QUALIFICATIONS

RegisteredNurse licensure in state of residence.
Bachelor's in nursing or equivalent experience / other bachelor's required, higher degree preferred.
Experience in nursing practice required.
Experience in NCF leadership as a nurse educator or nurse (active or retired) is preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills (including ability to minister to diverse ethnicities).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated problem solving skills.

Pay Range: $39,288.00 - $52,392.00 per year
Pay: This position is funded through personal fundraising. Accordingly, compensation will vary based on the ability of the individual to secure a donor team to fund the cost of his/her salary. The anticipated salary range for this position on a full-time basis (40 hours/week) is dependent on a variety of factors, including location and cost of living. The actual salary received, including any geographic adjustment to account for location and cost of living, is subject to the individual's ability to raise funds necessary to cover the full amount of such salary within the range set forth in the job posting details.

Primary Duties
Essential Functions:
Client Services
It is an essential function for the RDMS Ultrasound Tech/Consultant to be present on the work premise.
Perform client pregnancy tests and sign positive pregnancy test verification forms.
Perform limited obstetrical ultrasound (US) scans.
Interact regularly with the Women's Center staff, including volunteers, to coordinate smooth functioning of client referrals for Ultrasounds.
Follow up with each US client seen to share the physician's ultrasound results and encourage the client to obtain prenatal care or other care as directed by a physician.
Communicate any abnormal US results to Clinic Manager and Women's Center Manager and use physician-established protocols - before dismissing the client.
Communicate with the Radiologist directly if unsure of ultrasound findings.
Provide consultation services to clients in the Women's Center.
Provide health education to individual clients as appropriate.
Maintain client charts in accordance with Privacy Practices and other medical requirements.
Provide mentoring support through the various educational and spiritual programs available at ENLC.
Work under the guidance of Clinical Manager to ensure Elizabeth's New Life Center is in compliance with all OSHA and other standards, laws, and requirements that are applicable to our clinics.
Assist in the training of new ultrasound volunteers and staff on the use of the ultrasound equipment.
Center Administration and Support
Assist volunteer staff.
Follow office and record-keeping policies.
Strategic Management
Assist in the development of annual outcome goals for all pertinent strategic initiative(s).
Track and document steps are taken to achieve annual outcome goals.
Achieve annual outcome goals as outlined in the appropriate business plan.
Secondary Functions:
Attend all training including quarterly in-service training, and annual ultrasound competency training.

Job Requirements
Experience, Education, and Licensure
Current license in good standing as an ARDMS in the state of Ohio. RN will also be considered. OB and Ultrasound experience preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of HIPAA, ACOG, and OSHA standards.
Language Skills
Must have highly developed interpersonal skills; ability to meet people with ease; ability to communicate the written and spoken word with tact and diplomacy; good organizational skills, well-disciplined, able to meet deadlines, self-starter, able to work under pressure; ability to work well effectively with others. Ability to read, analyze, medical reports, and legal documents. Ability to use a computer and associated software with little or no assistance. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
The noise level in the work environment is low - moderate. While fulfilling the responsibilities of this position, the employee is required to sit, stand, and/or walk. Specific vision abilities required by the position include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
