2001: Schneider Electric launches a friendly securities exchange takeover bid aimed at controlling all of Legrand’s capital.
Gilles Schnepp became the Group’s Chairman and CEO in 2006.
Benoît Coquart has been a member of Legrand's Executive Committee since 2010.
In 2011, Legrand becomes part of the CAC 40.
