JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Administrative Functions · Conduct and coordinate the development and completion of the resident assessment (MDS) according to current rules, regulations and guidelines set forth in the RAI User manual, including the implementation of Care Area Triggers and Care Area Assessments. · Manage RAI process and Care Plans according to VHS standards. · Complete medical forms, reports, evaluations, and studies as directed. · Develop, implement and maintain an ongoing quality assurance program for the resident assessment/care plans. · Participate in facility surveys and the development of a plan of correction as it relates to deficiencies sited in the resident assessment/care plan areas. · Schedule resident assessment/care plan meetings and inform appropriate department supervisors accordingly. · Assist in contacting outside members of the care plan team, including resident's representative/family members regarding participation in care plan meetings. Assessment and Care Plan Functions · Conduct or coordinate the interviewing of each resident for the resident's assessment. Spend your summer providing essential care to a vibrant camp community dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences for NYC underserved youth. Reporting to the Director of Health and Safety, you'll play a key role in ensuring the health and safety of campers and staff while enjoying the unique environment of overnight camp. This position requires living onsite at camp from June 11 - August 15, 2026, private housing and meals provided. Compensation for this role is $1,300 to $1,400 per week. Key Responsibilities Administer medications and provide medical treatment to campers and staff as needed. Assess medical needs, provide emergency care, and make referrals to medical facilities or specialists. Conduct physical screenings for all staff and campers upon arrival. Maintain accurate medical records and logs for all treatments and medications including paper and electronic records in database. Ensure the cleanliness and sanitary conditions of camp facilities, including the kitchen, dining hall, bathrooms, and cabins by monitoring and reporting any issues.
