In 2012, Minority Serving Institutions, as defined above, enrolled approximately 3.6 million undergraduate students per year—20 percent of all undergraduate students enrolled in higher education—and no less significant, a disproportionate percentage of students of color.
Since 2012, not only has the Company maintained its leadership in natural stone, but it also has become the leader in the distribution of many manufactured hard-surfacing products, including porcelain and ceramic tile, quartz countertops, and decorative mosaics.
Doctor Marshall oversaw the development of the initiative until 2013.
