Vnomics CEO and leadership

Alan joined Vnomics in 2014, bringing with him vast experience in general management, business development, IT, e-commerce and customer service functions. Prior to Vnomics, Alan spent over 25 years at Bausch & Lomb where he managed commercial operations and grew new revenue streams in the U.S. and abroad. He held positions including President of Lens Care, Vice President of Marketing, Corporate Vice President of Business Development, and Corporate Vice President and President of Bausch & Lomb’s Europe, Middle East and Africa Region. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President, Customer Service, Information Technology and Digital Initiatives, and Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Bausch & Lomb. Prior to joining Bausch & Lomb, Alan held a variety of senior operating and general management positions with Schlegel Corporation, a privately held global manufacturer of industrial goods. Alan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Rochester and a Juris Doctor degree from Cornell University School of Law, Ithaca, N.Y. He also served as Trustee of the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness/Vision 2020 and Board member of the Greater Rochester United Way.
