Throughout his executive career, Venkat has held leadership positions at companies including Vyome Therapetuics Inc, Vyome Biosciences Private Limited, Emami Ltd., Aurobindo Pharma, Shantha Biotechnics, and CavinKare. As Co-Founder & CEO of Vyome Biosciences since 2011 & Vyome Therpaeutics Inc since 2017, he leads the innovation-driven biotech company in the development of novel drugs for immuno-inflammatory indications and antibiotics-resistant acne and other opportunist pathogens through a unique pipeline of novel products. He has raised a significant amount of money for fueling the growth of this company. This follows three years as CEO & Executive Director of consumer goods company Emami where he increased market cap from $200M to $2B, two years as Senior VP- Global business with Aurobindo Pharma, and three years as President of Shantha Biotechnics where he created a business direction and scale that helped a sale of the company at $800M to Sanofi. He previously spent six years as President of consumer products company CavinKare fueling a sixfold growth in revenues. He is accomplished in a wide range of business areas including scaling, growing revenue, fundraising, international expansion in the life sciences sector, and launching new products and drugs globally.

Venkat holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management. He is a Board Member with Vyome Biosciences and Vyome Therapeutics Inc.
